My view tho. It's not evil to use electronic bible but if you are easily distracted just stay with the paper

This one is one of the many that subconsciously resists technically advancement.

So if I need like 5 different translations, I should carry the 5 heavy paper Bibles, whereas a simple app has more than 10 of them?

So now that I want to sleep small and wake up in 2 hrs to read my Bible, I hope I can use the paper Bible as alarm to wake me up?

Can I chat with people reading the same page as me to clearify any misunderstanding?

What are your thoughts on distractions?
How do you manage studying your Bible and pop-up messages and ads?

I really prefer the paper bible especially if you are a Christian trying to build capacity in self control. Reading the bible from electronic gadgets has a lot of cons. You may be innocently reading the book of Isaiah and then Boom!....BB NAIJA advert or one useless gistlover news just pops up. grin
The paper bible and even when i was in school i always love hard copies too, because when i am going to read its just me and that paper, no make i rush see watin day happen for facebook, hard copy always helps in deeping concentration op is on point

The poster is simply saying nothing but his personal opinion.

TO condemn reading our bible phone is like condemning every other necessary use of phones including its vital information

I must confess the height of knowledge I gained from studying the word of God through phone bible apps within a space of time is WHAT i could not afford after studying with paper bibles for years.

What people fail to understand is that as the days goesby, technologies begin to advance in every aspects of lives in order to make things simple and easy for humans including the study of God's word

You can't tell me that if we were still in the era when the God's word were engraven in stones, people would fine it easyl to carry it to the pulpit and read the scriptures before their church members let a lone going a long with it for the purpose of evangelisms

Now I'm happy that I can read and study my bible convinienly with my bible app anywhere I fine myself, whether in my shop, market on my journeys etc, which is quite impossible to do with paper bibles

You can laugh and jeer all you want sir,but know this it is not about Christianity or Islam or whatever. It is about a soul that if lost forever would be a great tragedy. Your parents were just used as instruments to bring you into the world. There is a greater design why you are here. Your last day will come on the day you breath your last. Then reality sets in my friend. None is guaranteed the next minute. Act while you can by turning away to the one who died for you. Ask him to open your eyes to the truth of your existence.

Whether you like it or not you will leave this world someday maybe even sooner than you think but a grim reality awaits you in the next life if you don't repent and you cannot return to make amends cos once you die your eternal faith is sealed.
