'....The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has lamented that the current administration inherited a bankrupt country that was responsible for the budgetary constraints. According to him, the revenue generated by the Bola Tinubu-led administration is being used to repay what was taken from the country....' Inherited from whom.... same government. Taken by whom..... as the NSA you should know. Last regime the fault was '16 years of the PDP'. This time around they are choking on their angst.... can't speak out or speak truth. Nigerians have nothing to complain about. The basic rules of a working democracy is that a failed government is voted out. We chose to return ours so whatever we see we take. |

israelmao: Economic Position,As At Today: It's unfortunate that many comments on this Nairaland- Forum are biased and based on those who lost elections, yet the elections losers still wants to govern by proxy e g NLC - Ajaero of LP/ PDP Sympathersers, who for a decade lost their voices - 8- yrs of Buhari,we did not hear nor see them fighting for the hapless workers, the Retirees, including thousands of their Cases in Courts but would love to support the man from Imo State, who went there during Campaign hours! So because the Imo thugs beat Ajaero, you are now calling for Strikes, abi? - Malam Ribadu messages is to his Constituency - NSA,and is being blunt-he is warming his colleagues, that they should not expect unnecessary expenses,as it's a tight Budgets - irrespective of what is going in the Executive ( the Senate and House of Reps). - Many don't understand that Buhari did not understand the Economics dynamics of today's World ( he did not understand the basic principles of Econometrics) but was package by the so called ' Cabals' like Adesina- and co - sorjourners, under pretence they were doing Nigeria good- by borrowing relentlessly and the only good was for the 2nd -Niger Bridge Completion and possibly for the Railway-revival but Nigerians don't know the Actual Costs as everything was being Corrupted,e g. Amaechi could not tell us the real Costs of what he expended! The Committee investigating his Ministry is sindie! - Here is Buhari, who came under the impression of fighting Corruption, yet most of his Ministers looted Nigeria .e g Nigeria Air,the Poverty Allieviation woman- under COVID-19 -Homongous Money - was never accounted for and none of those Ministers- including Mrs Ahmed of Finance, the Idris of Accountant General, etc, ever Accounted for the Money under Buhari! - For Tinubu, you can't be telling Nigerians ' No Money ' as we can see the ' NBILLIONS being spent on the National Assembly Membership Cars, the Yatch-Funds- which was placed in Buhari's Budget, but why did you signed it into law,if indeed you cared about the Masses? You should have Cancelled it and rejected it in your Budget! - As at today- the Rice and Cements you said should be imported free, and the CBN - could not effect such,so the Rice Prices of Rice is still 50K + and above and nobody has been put in charge,so the Prices of other Foodstuffs like Fishes,Beans, Oil are still very expensive,so after 6- Months, the Masses should be feeling the presence of your Govt! *Nigerians are no longer Saving Money but are battling hunger and high - Inflations! There are should be more Productions- for Nigeria to breakthroughs, but DISCOS is nowhere to be found! e g In Ikorodu area of Garage, Awolowo Road Area,Ota-ona, Erunwen,Radio Areas, the Freezes are on holidays! Very Shameful indeed! •How many of the Ministers are really on the ground of their Ministries, Except with - Min.of Interior, Roads, Digital Economy, FCT,Beta Edu (- but Madam - we are yet to see the Economy Palliatives, especially for the Retirees,as November Month is about to go and Dec-Christmas is around the corner)! • the rest of Ministers Nko? 1- Power Min.nothing is going on- these-DISCOS are the real enemies of Industrialization- as they are always ready to give Darkness- no Prepaid Meters,no New Transformers -so that we continue to buy more Generators and more Fuels- to run Nigeria-because of Demons of Darkness operations in Nigeria is too powerful! But Ghana and Benin-Republic are no longer using Generators! 2-Agriculture Minister- what is happening in your Ministry? What are your Plans to boost Food Supplies into Nigeria,? 3- Industry- Minister-how many Jobs have your Dept created since you came on board? Frustrations is going on with the Youths today, hence the Japa Syndrome is seen as the Ultimate! NIGERIANS want Nigeria Problems Solved,Not Excuses! •Nigerians are waiting,we don't want excuses from this govt,as you are quite aware of Buhari's borrowings spree, before you took over? 1 Like 1 Share |

This is why I laugh at people who hope in this country. Hausa and Yoruba man see Nigeria as their fathers property. Imagine, what this government is indirectly telling Nigerians is that Nigerians should not expect anything meaningful from them. Even the poorest African country is not bankrupt, it's Nigeria, the giant of Africa that's bankrupt. I am not talking of crude oil here, what of other solid minerals, like iron ore, limestone, bitumen, gold etc that are found here? There's no proper account for the proceeds from these solid minerals. They will use petroleum matter to divert our attention while siphoning billions of dollars from different solid minerals found in Nigeria. Nigeria is bankrupt you never run commot from Aso Rock, you pursue to clinge to power reach supreme court. Then when you are are asked for account of your stewardship, you come with cock and bull stories. See your small head, "Nigeria is bankrupt". God will judge all of us. 1 Like |

When Buhari was there, their excuse was that the PDP ruined the country for the last 16 years. Now that an APC government has spent 8 years and handed over to another APC government, lets see what their excuse will be. The money stolen under PDP in 16 years is peanuts compared to what was stolen under Buhari. |
