All you typed here are unnecessary shalayes. What concerns Nigeria with the overaged players posted above? We are telling you age cheating is not limited to Africa alone, you're writing epistles.

BTW, the little political stuffs was unnecessary.

It's apparent that you lack knowledge, have limited exposure and probably have never been and lived in a first world 🌍 country.

In addition you have probably not had any participative engagement and or relationship with government bodies, structure and process management.

You made your nonsensical proposition with reference to France. Your clearly in the dark πŸŒ‘πŸ•ΆοΈ and have no idea what you are talking about.

In France before a child is born, the conception will be registered and whole series of interactions around the
antenatal care and welfare of the mother and child will be recorded and appraised.

This is a process that will generate data and information that will be processed with multi faceted interaction with different organisations and government departments. There are legal accreditations that will entitle you to go to school, get medical care, your ID, etc.

It's absolutely impossible to change your age because there is data corroboration in multiple government agencies. You would have to change your data in multiple data banks illegally that's simply impossible.

In addition from the first day you join a local football club at age 5/6 that data is recorded and it's continuous.

Finally, with regards to the politics is there anything that is UNTRUE. Is it relevant,100% it is . Because if government is without integrity and the personification of government is in the head πŸ—£οΈ of government the highest office on the land, THE PRESIDENT that's intrinsically relevant.

And that President is confirmed and proven to be without a single iota of integrity, but instead is a Criminal convicted for drug dealing money laundering, certificate forgerery, ID πŸ†” thief, Attended a secondary school that did not exist when he claimed to attend it. Can't remember his primary and secondary schools.

All these attributes impact on how the world 🌍 will see us as Nigerians.

But sir, you and I know jpajero has nothing to loose if we didn’t qualify for WC, yet are we going to fold our arms or stand akimbo and allow him ruin SE. I read somewhere, where senior members of SE are not happy with Uzohole still they can’t speak. Do you think majority of them are happy with Uzohole?

Then I want to ask, will jpajero still keep faith with somebody like Uzohole if he were d coach of his country national team
I get you bro but by allowing the NFF to be dictating for the coach, we stand to lose much more.

Fron the press conference today regarding to the super eagles match tomorrow against Lesotho. Coach Jose Pasiero will start Francis Uzoho in goal in tomorrow match . My problem with the coach is that is not trying other goal keepers he invited. What if both Uzoho and Maduake Okoye is not available for a match that means we panic for a replacement

A jail sentence is not required for a conviction, you obviously don't know that. Forfeiture is a punitive measure that follows a conviction.

CSU under oath in court confirmed they did not issue the certificate Jagaban submitted to INEC.

Bassey is better as an LB.

And Collins has been great in the Championship.
komekn:

Bassey is not good at LB but a lot better at CB.

Collins is retrogression he has nothing to offer to take us forward.

Hey Danny. TheGoodJoe was the first to show his availability. Where is his name on the list? Or did I miss something?

Danielnino00:

Good afternoon everyone. I appreciate you all for your time and patience so far, and apologies for not being able to meet up with the deadlines listed in the calendar.
So, based on responses received so far, here are the members of the nomination committee for the 2023 Nairaland Nigeria Football Fans Award:
1. Danielnino00
2. Icon4s
3. Thesupernerd
4. Charlesemeka85
5. Joebie
6. Andsungorilla

Given that the super eagles have a game tomorrow and next week, I think it's only right to wait until afterwards before we begin. The super falcons also have a game coming up toward the end of this month and early December, but the super falcons only have one category for the award, so we cant wait till then. However, if members of the committee wish to make modification to the categories, we can find a way around it.

In lieu of this, here is the new calendar:
November 22- November 27 2023- Selection of award categories by nomination committee
November 27- December 2nd 2023- Selection of players for each award category by nomination committee
December 4th - December 11th 2023- Official Voting of winners by all Nairalanders
December 15th 2023- Official announcement of winners

Thank you all

I remember back in the 90s and early 2000s when the streets of major Naija cities would be near empty whenever the Super Eagles are playing a (televised) competitive game…

But these days, people no send, except the team is an AFCON semi or final, or playing a WC match

I get why Peseiro is sticking with Francis in goal. Sometimes players just need someone to believe in them, and Francis isn't all that bad. Remember that match against Manchester United? He's shown up for his club.

Our goalkeeper situation is tricky. Coaches keep changing, and every new guy feels the heat. It's like we've put too much spotlight on the position. Even Vincent in the early 2000s had his struggles. Look at Onana; he's a good goalie because he's proven himself elsewhere.. But is he always perfect?

Football's a team sport, not about one person. We've got to support the manager helping Uzoho. If not, we'll keep begging for goalkeepers with Nigerian heritage to play for us. I was skeptical about AFCON, but deep down, I think we've got potential. Let's back the team and drop the insults – we're all here for Team Nigeria. πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

He has KPI's; qualify for the world cup and Semi-Final of AFCON. That's what his contract says. Until he falls short of any he his well within his right to steer the team as he deems fit. The only thing the NFF can do his sack him. Look at the England team for instance, most fans prefer Tomori over Maguire, but Athe coach has his preference and it has to be respected. Any intervention no matter how noble that involves interfering with the coach's decision is a No No.
.

How I wish dat match should be played in Lagos, I would caused some serious accident to Uzohole and jpajero if he make those infantile errors against Lesotho πŸ‡±πŸ‡Έ πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ

Sir,We all know Enyeama caused us the world cup ticket in Kano against Angola. He improved greatly after that error. Enyeama used to be poor in PKs,he worked on himself and we all remembered him saving 3 or 4 PK's against Tunisia in Afcon 2006. He grew in leaps and bounds keeping as many clean sheets in the French Lique 1. He is adjured as the greatest goal keeper ever in Africa.

Uzoho did okay at the World Cup in 2018. He didn't get better going forward. He lost his spot to Okoye and if not for Okoye's blunder against Tunisia in Afcon 2021,he would not have gotten his spot back.
He was the cause we could not go to Qatar 2022. He has been dropping howlers again and again.

JP must know that this is not a league competition where you will have to play 30-40 league games every season, play domestic cups etc.
He can't afford to drop points in any game in this world cup qualifiers cause we have South Africa to contend with.
The league in Cyprus may be better organized and monetized than the NPFL but in terms of quality,I don't think it is better than ours. Uzoho is a bench warmer and we saw his performance in the last league game when he came in as a substitute to replace the first choice goalkeeper.

I will prefer Akpeyi to Uzoho even though he is jittery in the colors of 9ja. Hey, that Mahrez free kick can beat any world class goalkeeper.

Uzoho may come out unscathed against Lesotho and Zimbabwe but what happens when we get to play formidable foes?, What if a game goes on to Penalty kicks?, Will he be able to save any?.

Ask yourself why Okoye declined the invitation? He knows fully well that he is a better shot stopper than Uzoho.
Okoye may have been blamed against the loss against Tunisia in our last Afcon outing but he is still a better goalkeeper than Uzoho.

JP is just being strong headed and we will see where it will lead us to.
It will be in the expense of Afcon triumph and World Cup Qualifiers.
