festacman: The man Agbero, or Ajaero need to be brutalized. The brutalization was not done by government agency but by the people because he went to campaign for the LP candidate. In Imo, he was not representing the Labor union but rather the Labor Party. How many youths have been brutalized, used and dumped by politicians during the campaign, yet the Labor union that claimed to represent people did not protest nor called for strike, and yet because of the justified brutalization of the agbero man, the Labor union caused the short down of the country. The Labor union in Nigeria is the most corrupt organization and need to be abolished or better yet, be banned from calling for strike, such a situation can never happen in a civilized society. |

@festacman By the way, there is no picture of Adams Oshiomole with swollen face and bloody bandages as NLC President anywhere. @me In those days labour was not used for political drama. Look, I don't know about these days but during our time of campus Aluta struggle, if our SUG president comes back to the campus with swollen and bloody face, the campus and the town will be turned upside down. How much more the president of NLC. We are talking national president here. Nonsense! @me Did you guys shut down the whole universities in Nigeria because of an isolated case? |

Vision101: Mr. Vision101, your ajaero was not on Labor union assignment, he went on his own personal recognition for political reasons (unless we want to believe that he is equating Labor union for Labor Party). Hence, anything that happens to him or any other person as a matter of fact is not a State responsibility. It's like saying your SUG president got beaten up by his girl friend ex boy friend, will the student union revolts? |

Kukutente23: That even makes it clear and justify his brutalization. He went to campaign for LP candidate under the disguise of protesting unpaid salaries few days before the election. Was he not aware of the unpaid salaries way before the election period? People just need to exercise their God given common sense before loosing it. 1 Like |

Timmi: Let's go along the line of your argument, so people who embark on political campaign should be brutalized by the police? Is it now the new norm under President Tinubu because what's goes around comes around? Come on, remove your political lens and see this act of battery for what it is. If you were active in SUG before the bastardization of NANS, you would have known that NANS intervened in any unresolved maltreatment of a SUG official by University authorities on any campus in Nigeria and there was always a threat of nationwide protest. |

Re: Joe Ajaero: I Was Brutalised, Detained By DSS – Oshiomhole by Timmi: 12:35pm On Nov 16, 2023 |
festacman: And if we only you can comprehend my point all along, you will know that I am justifying brutalization but rather other people were also brutalized at the same campaign location, Is Ajaero now more important or special to the others?. In my Student union days, if the SUG president is brutalized in his own personal endeavor, no one will protest. Please try to read and comprehend before responding. Ajaero went to campaign and not for Labor union activity, he (including others) was brutalized as a person and the Labor union shut the country down. Does that make sense to you? |

Kukutente23: Some of you lack common sense and simple english comprehension, I did not said brutality is or should be allowed. Please read slowly: What I said was that the man Ajaero went to campaign (as a person and not representing the Labor union), which is ok, in the process, other people (and not security agents) attacked him (among other people that was also attacked at same time and same event). Are you now saying Ajaero is more important than the others that were brutalized? |

DesChyko:Below is the complete sentence you are struggling to comprehend This was the days when NLC was not an affiliate of a political party like LP that promotes politics of hate, lies, tribal/religious bigotry and criminal defamation. You remind me of the lamentations of Prof Soyinka about you uncouth lot. “However, as a new, tyrannical, insolent, and abusive culture, the culture of submental humanity in our midst, which you can give the rough name of the new Internet culture, in which real creativity is being downgraded, even despised for cheap, populist, nasty, subversive, humanly subversive culture.” ~ Prof Wole Soyinka, 2023
