This is an interesting quote. This recent Tani Olorun case comes to mind. Na him "friends" arrange how they kidnapped the guy for night and connived with the judge on top say the jihadists wan fight for their god.

Na police and judges Allah dey use defend himself. What a joke!

I won't even be surprised if one digs deeper and finds that some of the guy's fellow Isese adherents were culpable in aiding the jihadists. As the Yorubas say, only one's head (ori) really knows one's true friends and enemies. Na eye service plenty for human interactions.

It's only in times of trouble you know who your real friends are.

Unknown to his "friends", they only brought him to limelight and took him closer to greatness.

P Diddy accuser settle case

There was no other way but to settle her and more importantly quickly because if it lingered or went to court, na R. Kelly and B. Cosby levels. Also other women will start coming out.

Good thing that Diddy shut it down quick but are we going to start having copycat lawsuits to try cashout cos I doubt any rapper or R&B star won't have violated some metoo code at some point

I doubt anyone was writing elaborate NDAs in the 90s and 2000s hip-hop scene

Google and a Nigerian man, Chianugo Peter, are engaged in $150 million lawsuit with Mr. Chianugo Peter suing Google for shutting down his website youtubeaudio.com on the premise of copyright.

https://techcabal.com/2023/11/15/google-150-million-suit/

While Google would frustrate his efforts with its financial warchest as a deterrent to others, when registering domain names and building websites, as along as you don't intend to impersonate or come off as an affiliate illegally or other such malicious intent, you own your domain.

The argument now for and against would be if it is domain parking or a legitimate website.

About domain parking: It reminds me of the guy who built peterobi.ng in June 2022.
Great UI/UX. He never got to add a lot of content to the website and I could tell he was stalling in hopes of negotiating a development or outright sale deal with the Obi team.

Unfortunately for him, Obi doesn't give 'shi-shi', so his team built the obidatticampaign.com as an alternative. I checked few minutes ago and the website peterobi.ng is down.

He'd have made money off it if it were Atiku though. Just leave the registrar details public and he'd have been contacted.

Question is, how many of the artists/ rappers from the 90s and 2000s are still relevant with high monetary value like Diddy today? Only very few and they seem to have their stuff together. Snoop, Jigga, Ice, Dr Dre, Eminem, 50 cent (if he stops filing for bankruptcy)..The rest have gone down or involved in other activities outside mainstream music.

Shey na cats including groups like Raekwon, Public Enemy, Big pun, Nate Dogg, OutKast, Bone Thugs, Rakim, Busta, Method man, Mobb Deep, NbN, Warren G, Kurupt, whatever is left of the Fugees, Mistikal, Twista, Mase… pesin wan sue? Na dem go even sue you sef.. Even if u sue, wetin I wan see get? These ones go file bankruptcy sharp sharp..

The Rivers state governor Fubara addressed his fellow Opobo people as "gburugburu ndi Igbo. Does it mean that Opobo people are full-blooded Igbos, more so, the man's Igbo is very central and clean.

You see, while my brothers and sisters are excited about this video, I am upset by it. I detest videos like this because it is intentionally used to manipulate and score political points as he tries to build his own structure in Rivers politics.

This isn’t any different from what happened during the last general election, especially in Lagos when Igbos were used as narratives throughout the cycle. When it hits the roof now, he disappear and pretend like he is unaware of the attacks on the same group.

Fubara should focus on serving the people of Opobo by giving them good roads, portable water, good hospitals and schools instead of this manipulation. Please stop playing with their emotions for selfish reasons.

You spoke my mind about England. There is no reason why Nwaneri should be coming off the bench. When he came on against Brazil he was good.

Can Rochas speak Hausa to the people of Imo state? It's different from Fubara who is already a sitting governor addressing his tribe men.

Exactly! They play to the emotions of people for selfish reasons. I mean what is exactly the purpose of this video? Despite the numerous Hausa lyrics he has been waxing for decades, Rochas can’t muster 1 delegate vote.

I really dont know why these politicians uses igbos in their manipulative tactics.

He is shouting that nonsense now to get love and support from igbos, but tomorrow they will deny and detach from anything linking them to igbos.

Any igbo man happy with this is a fish brain. You should know when you are being used.

look at it from this angle, is this an inch closer to building 🏢 🏫 his own base too?

Remember wike has always denied been Igbo and has downplayed his association with Igbos..

Maybe fubara wants to start now to build his base so in rivalry of his boss wike

Confirming what we are saying, that this move is selfish, manipulative and ill intentioned towards the same people. This is especially knowing how his boss Wike perceives the same Igbos in Rivers state.

But when dem dey chop together he didn't remember his Ibo identity

Say now yawa gas, Wike vs Fubara fight escalates Now the random Ibo guy is suddenly a target because Fubara wants to fill his own pocket

PDP used to play that game in Lagos with Ibos before GRV did the same

Saraki family used to try that gimmick too, when he's speaking to Hausas he uses Abubakar when hes talking to Yorubas he claims Olusola

I think in 1992 presidential election one person from North cleared him say make he no deydrag them into matters as he is not a real Northerner

Good move anyway since Igbos are pissed with Wike

BTW, Opobo have more Igbo blood than the Ikwerres. Their blood should be 80-90% Igbo, Bonny blood is 70-80% Igbo while Okrika and Kalabari blood are 30-40% Igbo.

Yes. In Opobo, Igbo language is the mother tongue/native language. Their high ranking masquarede is called "Nwaotam" which has it origin from Ndoki. They sure have their rep in Ohaneze.

I just wanted to confirm if Opobo are Igbos. Looking past Fubara's shenanigans, some truth are inherent and that is Opobo people are predominantly Igbos judging my his fluency in the language.

I am sure before now, most people didn't know this.

Always claiming people (for their land). Dude just stop with your revisionism. All Nigerians (who never had history lectures) now believe themselves to be university professors of history. I thought you were better than this. But you couldn't escape the local trend.

There is so much ancestral confusion and denial in Rivers state because of political interests. I also believe that Language is a core aspect of culture and culture defines a tribe from another.

This is why you guys are the most uneducated people on earth, you love to be lied to when the lies tell you what you want to hear.
The guy knows nothing about what he's talking about. And that tells your own level of intelligence if you are willing to learn from him.
