Maybe we should have Oliseh back with all the support. I don’t mind heads rolling. This team needs all seriousness mentality injected.

I don’t know why we like deceiving ourselves instead of facing reality….Okoye had two games last season and just one this season,so what do you expect from such keeper in term of performance.

If he returns heads will roll in the team, but the SE will be better of in the LONG run. The NFF will have to be sincere and be selfless for him to return. For me, I would prefer Oliseh as the NFF technical director

You see that technical director it is Equaevon birth right. He is clued to that position I don't see this clueless NFF removing him

This NFF president don't look like someone that knows anything about football. I think Pinnick just put him there as a stooge

I pray we don't have an Nff president like Pinnick again ever

He is a mess

Corruption, LAWLESSNESS and impunity have been legalised by the highest court in the land.

It's the rule of criminals so don't expect anybody of capacity, capability and integrity.

NFF should look for foreign coaches with coaching experience on the continent....Alain Giresse, Dussuyer, Rejavac, Henri Michel etc...

Still not fully sold on our Naija coaches..not necessarily cos of a lack of capacity but the egunje issues and dodgy invitations that follow.

Saintfiet is within our reach

Principled or egocentric…Principled that ended Vincent Enyeama career, that benched Mikel for no reason and gave Musa captaincy just to have the backing of some powerful people.

Disloyal Peseiro faces wrath of NFF as Zamalek confirm Super Eagles coach's CV has been submitted
Jose Peseiro might have landed himself in hot water with the Nigeria Football Federation after an official of Zamalek confirmed that the Board of Directors of Zamalek have the curriculum vitae of the Portuguese football tactician.

Peseiro, either by himself or through a proxy, has applied for the vacant Zamalek coaching job despite his contractual obligations with the Nigerian Federation, which is tantamount to being disloyal to his employers..

Zamalek are searching for a new coach following the dismissal of Colombian Juan Carlos Osorio amid a series of disappointing results.

An unnamed official of Zamalek confirmed that Peseiro is among the candidates for the vacant job but underlined that no agreement has been reached with the Super Eagles coach and what is being said about the 63-year-old taking over the managerial role is completely false.

A Zamalek official told influential Arabic sports website Kooora: "Jose Peseiro is among the names already nominated to lead Zamalek.

"But he does not enjoy any preference. He is just one name among many CVs on the board of directors' table."

He added: “The football administration, represented by the board of directors duo, Ahmed Suleiman and Hussein Al-Sayed, has not finished working on this file and has not settled on a specific name yet, and it is still in the study stage.”

Peseiro's job as Super Eagles coach is hanging by a thread after the national team began the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on a disappointing note, with back-to-back draws against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

At the moment, the Nigerian Cricket Federation seems to be the best run sports Federation in the country. It doesn't have any of the endemic corruption and infighting that is rife in other sports and the progress they've made in cricket in the last five years is impressive.

This is my final take (albeit a short one) on the way forward from this mess. I want TheSuperNerd to give me his opinion on this.

My 5 Keypoint submissions:

1. Peseiro surely has got to go now, there's no gainsaying why he shouldn't be fired before the week runs out and his contract severed cause it's more than obvious the man is utterly redundant and gash. NFF should source for funds from wherever they can for all I care and make sure the man is paid off whatever he's owed to avoid another Rohr situation. If the Peseiro to Zamalek rumors are true, then it couldn't have come at a better time. Good riddance to bad rubbish I say. The man has the worst record of any SE manager in recent history.

2. NFF should be in talks with any of Oliseh (as much as I hate this), Siasia (is his ban over?), Amunike, Ndubuisi Egbo, Manu Garba and even Randy Waldrum. Given the short window of time we've got left before AFCON starts, it's impracticable to find a solid foreign coach, and I doubt NFF can afford the money to pay a tested foreign coach anyway. Can we get Pitso Mosimane? A man can only dream.

3. Whoever becomes the new coach definitely has his work cut out for him, for starters more than half of these current crop of players need to be either dropped for good, put on probation and axed if they fail to meet up to tactical expectations. Which brings me to point #4

4. Players that should be retained from this current set of players are Osimhen, Ndidi, Simon, Iheanacho, Iwobi, Aina and Zaidu/Osayi

Probation list should be: Chukwueze, Awoniyi, Moffi, Lookman, Onyeka, Onyedika, Bassey, Ajayi, Bruno onyemaechi and Boniface.

Players that NEED TO BE DROPPED FOR GOOD: Uzoho, Jamiu Collins, Omeruo, and Awaziem.

5. The players that now have to be called up to show us if they belong under the new coach and tactical system will be: Gift Orban, Akor Adams, Alhassan Yusuf, Nwakali, Eletu, Akinsanmiro, Igoh Ogbu, Noah Atubolu, Jonathan Rasheed, Olisa Ndah, Folorunsho. And if we can manage to get that Kayode kid that plays for Florentina to commit to Nigeria, it will be a massive coup for us.

The time to overhaul and rejig starts NOW, let's not wait till after the AFCON before we fire this fat retard called Peseiro, because we all know we aren't getting out of our group under this man. So let's not waste each other's time and get on with the business.

If it is true Pasiero applied for the Zamalek coaching job. The NFF can use that to sack him like Pinnick did to stephen keshi claiming he was still under a contract when he applied for a coaching job then

The NFF can use that to sack Pasiero

Na so people go Dey hammer local coaches any how…..Dosu Joseph gate crashed Atlanta team based on arrangements between Churchill Oliseh and Regiana fc and used Bonfrere Jo to achieve it.

People talking as if white coaches are saints, just check out Maduka invitation from regional league, brokered by agent and Rohr….check out Aribo continuing invitation and under performing Uzoho manning the goal post under Peseiro.
