So Sanwo-Olu did use people's money to pay lawyers that defended him in court? Just wow! |

liveLongNprospa:There cannot be a reply if one looks at it objectively. Today, we are talking about holding leaders accountable. Tomorrow, we are looking for ways to justify their moves. How will Wike have rigged for everybody, when one person would clearly be the winner? |

When the noisemakers get tired, they'll find something else to do. Or better still, they can make noises throughout their lives. Na your life palaver. Ko Kanye West. Ariwo oja (a market's noises) that has zero effect. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 7:41pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
izzou:you are missing what i am saying in all previous elections, wike rigged for PDP at the presidential and gubernatorial elections he rigged mercilessly and with violenace and bloodletting in this past election he had a falling out with Atiku otherwise he would have rigged for him/PDP as he has done in all previous elections. both Peter Obi and Tinubu met with wike in the run up to the election. if wike had decided to support Peter Obi the exact same scenario of electoral violence and in your face rigging would have played out - the only difference is that Peter Obi would have been the beneficiary of wikes rigging rather than Tinubu we can talk about how we want it to be - or about how it is for me it is Schadenfreude for the last 8 years people were celebrating and enabling wicked wike as he gave it to Rivers APC wotowoto the majority of the people complaining now about wike would have had no problem whatsoever with wikes actions as long as he was doing them to the party they dont like. |

GloriousGbola:We are talking about the presidential election here. Be specific So in 2019, Wike rigged for Atiku and shortchanged Buhari. So, you believe in Rivers state, Buhari would have won Atiku in 2019, without Wike? If you say Wike rigged for Tinubu, you are also saying someone won the election fair and square (that isn't Tinubu). Then how can you come back again, and say he would have rigged for all of them? So if Atiku won legitimately, Wike will still rig again for him? Abi Rigging don get another meaning? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 7:57pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
GloriousGbola:This thing is simple...Rivers was a state that one candidate was poised to win comfortably if Wike didn't happen and for that candidate, whatever rigging Wike might have done for him wouldn't have made any serious difference, but for a candidate that stood zero chance of winning Rivers, Wike rigging for them makes all the difference. It's like an exam I've read for, and everybody knows I'd comfortably get an A on it... questions then leak 24 hrs to the exam and you now go about insisting the only reason I got the A was because of those questions that leaked, when deep down you know I'd smash that exam either way. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Emaprince: 8:05pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
izzou:If wike supported OBi, you think he will need to rig anything? I was in PH a day after election and I knew the stories I heard from some one privy to the amount of Obi votes torn to pieces...and more kept coming. Wike wouldn't have rigged for Obi if he supported LP |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Emaprince: 8:06pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
Theflint1:which is laughable |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:09pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
Emaprince: Theflint1:I think this line of thought is just a way for APC faithfuls to console themselves of the rigging that happened, or maybe to justify it. Tinubu would not have won Rivers. APC was dead in the state, especially at the presidential level Amaechi did not promote him Magnus decamped to SDP. If Wike rigged for Tinubu, he definitely robbed someone else. So how can the same man come and rob Tinubu for another person? The same Tinubu wey no for get anything there. |

Sometimes you'll wonder if we all didn't experience the same thing. Rivers State needed to be rigged for Obi😁. It's like saying if Obaseki supported Obi then he would have needed to rig for Obi to win too😁 (thankfully even the rigging as confirmed by Segedinho wasn't enough) |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by patrickmuf(m): 8:40pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
izzou:Obi would have and should have won Rivers. Talking about rigging, I think politicians still rig in their strong holds to consolidate their winning because you don't know what your opponent is cooking elsewhere... |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 8:57pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
patrickmuf:If Atiku had granted Wikes wishes and sacked Ayu What do you think would have happened in Rivers |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 9:09pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
patrickmuf:Then going by your statement, every single state rigged the election. All parties rigged in the entire 37 states. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by patrickmuf(m): 9:17pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
izzou:You don't believe even favourites rig to consolidate their position? Cross River used to be PDP through and through but it didn't stop PDP from rigging... For instance, we all know Katsina will vote the APC but it won't stop the APC from rigging to counter whatever PDP does elsewhere. It the same for the other KK states. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 9:25pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
patrickmuf:So Lagos that was APC stronghold, and they lost it to LP nko? Which financial and political muscle did Obi use to outrig Tinubu? You are cherrypicking what suits your statement. How come Sanwo-Olu didn't rig to put APC in front, since all politicians rig their strongholds? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ballzproblem2: 9:26pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
APC they unpopular here in Rivers,my area they locked the primary school where voting was holding police came to carry the ballot boxes. The end. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by patrickmuf(m): 9:29pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
izzou:I should have added that unless there's a disruptive force like that which Obi brought to the table. Even then, who is to say that if Lagos was going to be the decider they would've allowed Obi carry the day? |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 9:31pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
Obi won FCT, and none of the others got 25% So if the FCT minister supported Obi, how would he have rigged for him? He would have taken Tinubu and Atiku's (less than) 25% and added to Obi's own? Is this what i am failing to understand? |
