BascoVanVeli:This was hilarious. Lol Yes, Olise is a familiar name, she only needs to prove herself at this stage. I really do not have an opinion on the replacements, I just hope they are the best we've got at the local stage and politics didn't influence their selection. It's the least the NFF owes both the fans and players of the NWFL. Imagine how depressing it will be like to realise someone you are better than in the same league gets chosen ahead of you. |

lovewins:Let me make it clear to you… The Current Home Based players that have been called up to the squad for the past international window and this present one ain’t the best, there’re far better players which have seen and watched play this Pre-season and the season currently going on.. It’s a matter of I know you from Justin call up right now… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 3:07pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
lovewins:That Justin be spitting nonsense… Asisat Oshoala haven’t Played Barcelona past two games and the rumors have been blowing around that she isn’t fit cus of the hamstring injury, so they have been managing her till they ruled her out yesterday..! Everyone knows too well that btw Onyi and Deborah one of them won’t be available for the game because of the College Cup, Anyway we should be glad that Deborah will be available to filled in the vacuum left by Ucheibe and Ayinde, which is my greatest joy right now.. Anyways I just hope NFF ain’t experimenting things with this below average Justin Maduga… We need a Coach!! |

Ajibade might be the quickest super falcons player to hit 100 app. She doesn't pull out for games and she's always fit |

But... Most College (University) Fall semester exams week are from Nov 27 through Dec 8. and I will be shocked if Abiodun makes the trip to Nigeria for this game. Calling these NFF people incompetent is being generous. They are imbeciles, pure and simple. Deltamani: |

Definately, not for injury reasons... She was just warming up to play in the ongoing derby a few mins ago lovewins:

AkinDS:Yea I figured. From the article it seemed like she unable to leave Portugal at the moment. Again not sure why that is. We can assume same reason kept her out of the last international window. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 5:13pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
AkinDS:Not injury, she scored with a great run into the Box.. Should I say VISA issue or something else but not injury at all.. |

Even though that was a risky run, that was a brilliant goal (or no goal). I hope its not apathy on the part of the players, not wanting to play for the idiots running the ship now (Madugu or whatever his name is). Deltamani: |

lovewins:Was wondering what happened to bringing in Anam IMO in place of Asisat Oshoala who was involved in 22goals Scoring 15goals and 7 assists in 25 league games this season for Pitea IF and also got nominated among the Forwards of the season… Season finished last week in 🇸🇪 so she’s arguably very free and available.. With her performance this sessshe deserves a call up! Not bringing in their own Home Based players instead of deserving ones…

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 7:52pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
Deltamani:Anam Imo just couldn't clique for the Super falcons just like Sadiq Umar for super eagles. Don't you think we overrate some of these lower European leagues sometimes? Let's look inwards more. |

Deltamani:They were either trying to save cost or the timeline was just too short to make it happen. |

GeneralDae:Is it the Swedish League you’re referring to as a Lower European League?? Let me know! ahbi them tell you say the Swedish League da same level with the Netherland, Norway, Scotland, Austria,Iceland, Switzerland, Russian League?? Or the Turkish, Belarusian and Polish leagues |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:13pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
GeneralDae:If it’s about Clicking with the Squad I can take that for the now because of the opportunity she has previously gotten… But rating the Swedish League that is currently ranked 6th in Europe just behind France, Germany, Spain, England, Italy is something I won’t take… Apart from this Year, the Swedish League have been ranked between top (3-5) until this 2023 when they fell down to 6… Do you even know that According to UEFA the English WSL is ranked 4th behind 1st France 🇫🇷 2nd Germany 🇩🇪 3rd Spain 🇪🇸 |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 8:35pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
Deltamani:Lol, I mean the Swedish league slowly lost its previous steam since around 2010 but I wasn't aware of this ranking though. My overall point is that I prefer bonding in a team and a team that clicks. Also some home based players may likely prove to be hungrier than some of these players we invite from Sweden, Russia, Turkey, etc. |

Deltamani:They are mostly foreign born |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:39am On Nov 27, 2023 |
Banuso99:Yeah they’re, hunting for them now just like Morocco 🇲🇦 is doing for their U17 and U20 team.. 97% of the Morocco Youth Team Squad are Foreign Born.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:44am On Nov 27, 2023 |
GeneralDae:The bolded is a no for me, they have been in the top3 for a long time not until 2017 when they fell down to 4th and that was the beginning… The major reason for their going down in the rankings is because of the Pay 💰… The pay in the NWSL, French League, WSL, Spanish and German League increased and the Players moved out to the other Leagues which affected them… If they invest in the Pay again they will definitely rise again because they’re one of the most Organized League in the World… Facilities top notch! |

Deltamani:To me Veteran Tochukwu Oluehi is better than at least 3 goalkeepers on this List just that she didn’t play much for Nigeria because of Nnadozie presence, at least her Club performance should have counted too as she had a good season with her Turkish Club hakkarigucu FC before moving to Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 |
