Charity is always good/Godly ... but not when it is for self glorification. If the media follows him and broadcast his works ... or the beneficiaries decide to let the whole wide world know ... then it is on them ... not him glorifying himself. But when it is his crew covering and broadcasting ... then it is ungodly and he should know better than to give and tell if he really is a man of God.
And yes... it is his money... he can scatter it if he likes ... he is free to spend it however he chooses to .... but I am also free to comment on whatever is in the public space.
