Deltamani:This people are not okay. Demehin didn't make the list? The only issue with Debbie being the choice will be finding the metric to justify it. If she had a long stretch at the world cup she would probably have a case. Ajakaye maybe cause she was top scorer during the qualifiers and had a good spell at the u17 world cup. |

lovewins:Debbie have a chance too, her exploits in the 🇺🇸NCAA can’t be overlooked… As a freshman having such an excellent season |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 1:15pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
Deltamani:Going by Statistics and their performance for both Club and Country, I will definitely remove Andile Dlamini🇿🇦, Njoya Ajara🇨🇲, and Anissa Lahmari🇲🇦, for Racheal Kundananji🇿🇲, Rasheedat Ajibade🇳🇬,and Tabitha Chawinga🇲🇼... |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 1:26pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
No kudananji ? That's crazy, i can still manage Ajibade omission but removing kudananji is crazy Deltamani: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 1:29pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
Deltamani:CAF is Crazy… What is Anissa Lahmari doing in the top10 Last season at Guingamp she played 18games Scoring only 2goals, average performance at the WAFCON cause her fellow Moroccan did better than her even at the World Cup just that she scored 1 goal.. This season she have played 9games scoring 4 goals with no Assists… Common CAF should do better..! Tabitha Chawinga literally outshined Ajara at Inter Milan last season… With Cameroon she didn’t do much Last season she played 21games scoring just 3goals and 1 assists, this present season she have only played 4 without goals. I guess Malawi WNT is working against Chawinga here! How come they performed better than Kundananji, Ajibade and Chawinga?? They didn’t even win any trophy with their Club or Country.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 1:33pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
isan:Manage Ajibade omission like how?? She was among the top scorer at the last WAFCON, last season at Atletico she won one trophy with them and scored 10goals and 3 assists for her Club.. and had a good performance at the World Cup.. How did Ajara perform better than her to be there? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 1:45pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
Deltamani:I know. I however limited the consideration the the calendar year for the award. Her college exploits in my opinion is for next year's award. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 1:49pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
Deltamani:Again, these people are not okay. Barbara Banda wasn't even at WAFCON and she didn't have a great year all things considered. Cameroon didn't even qualify for the world cup and were knocked out of the WAFCON by Nigeria. Ajara also didn't have a great season. The most ridiculous in my opinion is Andile Dlamini who was benched all through WAFCON and also reportedly struggled in the South African league. How is she even remotely on the list? These people are not okay. |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 2:28pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
Deltamani:Refilwe vs Tagnaout. Both deserve it |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 2:31pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
lovewins:I agree. The metrics is full of confusion. They've started again. Infact, Demehin missing out is the biggest red flag of the awards. Like Howwww. Someone that was instrumental at the WWC for Nigeria? And seeing names that didn't do anything exceptional too. Hilarious. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 2:32pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
lovewins:Looking at it from another angle, she have got the WAFCON Trophy, Champions League trophy and the individual awards she has won like the two goalkeeper of the tournament award from WAFCON and CAF Champions League.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 3:43pm On Nov 27, 2023 |
Deltamani:Only the CAF champions league and WAFCON falls within the calendar year being considered. She was benched all through WAFCON so her nomination alone should suffice. She shouldn't have made the top 10. |

Considering the fact that Demehin was schemed out of the final running (she would have easily won based on her body of work for club and country) , don’t be surprised if the Ghanaian girl or the Arab girl wins it. These awards are becoming a joke (actually, the CAF Awards have lost any semblance of credibility). You always have a stupid Nigerian who would vote for a non-Nigerian (instead of their own), like the idiot who didn’t vote for Osimhen and other examples… Deltamani: |
