No frequent scanning, no spatial awareness or intelligent movement to receive passes. He’s also appears sluggish and slow.

Man used one tackle vs Mbappe in the World Cup to deceive mandem. That’s probably the only thing on his CV.

I’ll keep an eye on him tho. Too early to conclude. Maybe it’s because of his fitness levels.

I hope so too.

Mandem had his eyes glued to the ball everytime and constantly followed it around, oblivious of the people around him. We couldn't play from the back partly because he wasn't available and didn't know how to lose his man to receive a pass.
