Hi everyone in the house
Am 2023 Mbbs aspirant and I scored 290 in jamb but I wanted to do change of institution to BUK
Please what are my chances of gaining admission in BUK to study medicine and surgery?
How far Man, what did you later decided?
BTW BUK admission I think depends on your state of origin, if it is among the catchment areas like Kano, Kaduna and other northern states, then you stand a chance, though Kogi state is very competitive. You have to really know your onions when it comes to their putme. Coz it may appear simple but it is actually complicated.
You can get it if you can Ace the putme with 300 or above.
Wish you zenith!

Yes, the 5 marks is intentional and unlike last year that UTME was 70% and O'level 30%

Your aggregate is quite good enough.
Congratulations in advance

Did you use two sittings?
Yes, I used two sittings and I don't think it's such a good idea for them to reduce candidates' marks just because they used one or two sittings. The number of sittings used won't affect the scores, will it?

No it won't affect the scores since it has been calculated and you still have a high aggregate score. Just be rest assured and keep fingers crossed

As for the reduction in candidates' mark, that's based on the discretion of the school management

There is a WhatsApp group for MBBS aspirants. I can add you to the group

UDUS just released her cut off mark for 2023/2024 UTME aspirants.
Medicine and Surgery is; 280 for Merit
260 for ELDS and
230 for Catchment area.
For interested aspirants, UDUS is pretty fair in their admission and the calender is very fast.
I'll be resuming 200level latest by February, and we resumed 100level around April.
Hi bro I had actually had 290 in Jamb and am from Kwara State
Hope it's not too late to change to UDUS now?

UDUS don't sell post UTME form. Just change ASAP before the admission process begins proper. You will be admitted.

Please I need information on inter University transfer for MBBS ?

As in , being a 300L Medicine Student in a university in Nigeria , can I transfer my studentship to another university in Nigeria and continue with my medicine? Be it a state or federal University ?
If possible, can you list out the Universities that accept inter University Transfers for Medicine ?

Thanks

Greetings everyone. Please can you all contribute to share with me what group study is actually all about.
Is it really a good way to share or to actually be in a group sharing ideas with fellow despite the large amount of time needed for personal study
What are the advantage and disadvantage of group studying. Because to me i do personally see it as a waste of time.

Inter-university transfer is mostly common in Private and State Universities. State Universities that do it are:
UNIMED, Ondo
DELSU
ABSU

UNN
Uniabuja... Their form is currently on sale.
Unilorin
FULokoja
FUHSA
Gombe State University.

These are the schools I know of, I am certain they are more.. You get their form and attach your transcript to it, wait for admission...

My school (Rivers State University )accepts it, but transfer students are made to take MB(mostly with resit students), and they’ve done that for this year.

The next admission process for transfer students will be May/June next year(same time our senior colleagues will be writing MB).

PS: You’ll start from 200L

It all boils down to personal preference. There is no outright pro or con because it depends on one's personality and study technique. For someone like me who is a slow reader, it's a waste of time. I'll rather engage in group discussions on the night or morning of exams when I've done my own homework. smiley

I'm in 100L, moving to 200L early next year... Assuming I'm vying to cross to UNILORIN, would I move to 200L directly or repeat 100L?

Hello everyone please I need information on how Unilorin does their post utme and admission. I initially put in for uniben but their post utme was messed up and I was transferred to another course I don't like. I am thinking of changing institution to Unilorin but I don't know how things are done there. I am going for medicine and surgery

You would start from 200level but make sure your 100 level transcript is readily available.
