John McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Lucas Digne, Ollie Watkins, injured Tyrone Mings and that their crazy goalkeeper are the main men. But then, most of those new players are so similar to those main men and have a similar mentality.

Diaby has 13 starts and Torres has 14 starts out of 15 games. They are confirmed starters and they have been very key to their success and have been some of their main men. That Diaby in particular has been very sharp and links well with Watkins who is the boss man.

My mistake then.

My view is that Villa built on the team they already had with these new guys. Having achieved an incredible feat by qualifying for Europe last season, they reinforced their squad with very good players that suit them. And although most of their old squad players still drives the team forward, the new guys are pulling their own weight.

It's not as if all their new guys are a hit. Tielemans for instance, has been poor. But that's about jt. The rest embraced the team's mentality and kicked on.

IMHO Garnacho should not be an option that will start every game, especially in this kind of team. He lost several goals today and made many wrong decisions. If we didn't score that second goal, he'd have gotten so many backlash.

But he's out best option at LW at the moment. He makes better decisions than Rashford and even assisted the second goal.

If only we had another strong competitor for Rashford at that position...

No, I said Garnacho had not done enough for y'all to pounce on the manager for not benching Rashford in favor of him. Don't forget at that point most were hoping Rashford would still get back into form. And Garnacho had awful performances in the matches he started except from the game against a weak crystal palace side.

But immediately Garnacho performed, Rashford was moved to the right.

Whatever we've seen from Garnacho so far is not even close to what Rashford does when he's in form. That was what Ten Hag was trying to recover although that's looking more difficult everyday.

They don't realize the level of performance I expect from a competitor is far higher than what we've seen so far. But Rashford is presently as bad as it can get, so Garnacho works, I guess.

Marcus Rashford currently looks and acts like a defeated man. He conveys zero energy, zest, enthusiasm and adventure and he needs to find himself.

The least you can do when the dribbles are not coming off and the goals and assists have stopped rolling in is to make yourself useful to the team somehow. Track your fuckïng man. Don’t throw your hands up when you lose the ball.

We need to offload both Rashford and Sancho. The first for tactical reasons and the other for disciplinary reasons. Kolewerk for them in this club.
