Chukwueze has been facing several challenges during his transfer to Milan. Missed preseason, language barrier, physical setback due to an injury that sidelined him for almost a month.

Moreover, his playing style seemed at odds with the coach's expectations. The coach, emphasizing a dual role for his right winger, expects them to contribute both in defense and attack. This approach mirrors the situation Chukwueze encountered at Villareal under Emery's tenure. Emery, valuing a strong defensive contribution, often left Chukwueze out of the starting lineup due to his defensive limitations.

However, post-Emery, Villareal's new coaching strategy adapted to Chukwueze's strengths. By employing two defensive midfielders, the team alleviated Chukwueze's defensive responsibilities, enabling him to excel in his preferred attacking role.

Chukwueze shares similarities with Leo in their style of play. Both players are not inclined to shuttle between defense and attack constantly, as this detracts from their influence in the game. Leo, known for conserving his energy for offensive thrusts, rarely falls back to defend.
This approach, focusing on attacking transitions, is also ideally suited for Chukwueze.

To harness his full potential, a similar strategy should be applied, allowing him to concentrate on what he does best: creating and capitalizing on attacking opportunities.
caprikon:

Serie A teams tend to have good defensive organization.

I think it is more appropriate to rate Chukwueze on his overall game impact ..than just goals scored... Raphael Leao kind of impact.

Great point. However, Nwabali to me looks like a good goalkeeper! He has not only the build but also the confidence!
Kog45:
No Marjori,Uzoho keeping 20 clean sheet in NPFL?even Enyeama and Ejide didn’t have such record.Francis Uzoho that failed to have single clean sheet against Saudi,Mozambique,Lesotho and Zimbabwe, infact conceded 6 goals

Pls has Stanley Nwabili proved himself in the continent but continental standard is for NPFL keepers.Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide didn’t used continent to make eagles but pure talents.

My point is Peseiro saying Stanley Nwabili is better than what we have here or just cus he is in South Africa league, all I see here is agent working, nothing more.

I repeat it Nwabili is not better than Osayi Kingdom and Christian Nwoke but anyhow we need fresh hands between the sticks.

Iwobi looks a completely transformed player in Fulham, evidence of a good player who only needed the right environment and coach to finally blossom.

Meanwhile Tosin Adarabioyo scored, making a solid case for an AFCON call up if Peseiro and NFF are serious about winning

What about Arthur Okonkwo
Has he shown interest? I really don't think he has unless I'm not right.
But as it be. In here and now. The GK position of SE is up for grabs if we want to tell ourselves the truth.

If Peseiro must call up 6GK. These ought to be in that list.
1) Osayi Kindom
2) Christian Nwoke
3) Bankole
4) Stanley Nwabili
5) Adeleye
6) Uzoho.
That way it will show to everyone who is the better stopper.

Well said but I don’t see Sundowns leading with 5 points difference from second place team in NPFL and still having 4 outstanding matches.

The quality of football playing by less glamorous teams in NPFL is better than those less teams in SA league.

I gave it to SA league management for bringing real organization to the league.Yes the TV right alone makes the league attractive but the quality of football playing on the field,NPFL is better.
Provided MS aren't made to experience the basic bottlenecks an average npfl team faces year in year out(traveling mode, training and physio, contract issues, media and marketing, sales of jerseys-all that MS are excellent at but is alien to the NPFL terrain mostly) MS will ball in NPFL. Some NPFL teams will give their league some scare though.

We hv young promising CB’s to rebuild the team with. One like Ogbu deserves a chance

There is a time limit to PROMISE it's future projection However, when a player has been in Europe for 5 years and is now playing in poorly rated Czech league.

A league that is not rated better than the Scottish league,.

I find it difficult to call him a SE prospect.

Watching this Leverkusen game and it is obvious that Boniface would be better as a support striker than an out and out no. 9.

I’d like to see SE go to a back 3. Osimhen striking, Iwobi and Boniface as the supporting players just behind him. Ndidi and Onyeka in the midfield being flanked by Bruno/Aina.

Pulisic is currently ahead of him in the pecking order on the right flank.
Leao's absence pushed Pulisic to the left flank creating opportunities for Chukwueze to get playing time.

Chukwueze is presently struggling with the physicality of the league..getting shrugged off so easily. Chukwueze has to adapt quickly to give Pulisic a good push for a starting place.

Hmmm,Maduka going to Udinese didn’t helped him after Watford.I was expecting him to move back to Dutch league being a national team keeper.Imagine having just 3 appearances since last year not good for him.

Yes Uzoho always available despite fumbling and wobbling and still number one as at last match so whether we like it or not he will still be in our conversations.

I just hope we get things done before Afcon.

Yes he still will, and yet can't commend a starter Shirt in a lowly league, And when he fumbled again, we start crying and calling for his head,

let Okoye be tested the number of times same as Uzoho, or better still let him keep for all the matches we are going to play at the IV tournament in Dubai,

Then we can see and assess him too,,

You are talking as if people here are defending his constant invitation.

They're just mentioning his name because the current gaffer have been calling him up despite his fumblings.

Or can you point out like two regular persons here who have constantly clamored for his invitation?

Your last paragraph is what everyone have been saying from time immemorial.

I remember when I brought Zirkzee name up here that he outshoned Osimhen when Bologna and Napoli met. Many here mocked him cos Bayern let him go!
A player doesn't need to score loads of goals for anyone who is technically minded to see his immense potential.
Zirkzee has added another two goals today in less than 30 minutes. Making it 5 goals in 4 games.
A complete striker!
Milan and Napoli are rumoured to be interested in him.
How can Bayern have this gem and still went ahead to pay over 100m for Harry Kane? Baffling!
