Maybe in Obaseki’s case there were enough members to form a quorum. Even then only 1 faction is legal. In Fubara’s case his faction do not have enough members to form a quorum if 27 members are with Wike. Simple English, simple law.

Maintain status quo means the house should continue sitting as the constitution demands.their no 1 job is to sit,no court can interrupt that in the spirit of separation of powers.in any case,the Abuja fhc has already told them to continue sitting and the latest judgment is the subsisting one.besides,the court orders was on the assembly and didn't affect the CJ and the notice of impeachment was already given

Wike fought dirty to bring him power, Rivers people didn't vote him. Who is Fubara to win Magnus Abe, Tonye Cole or Dumo lulu-Briggs in a governorship election. Even the Labour Party woman had the support of Igbos courtesy of Peter Obi. Nobody is coming out for him, we didn't vote him.

If Primary is done 10 times, Atiku will continue to win the PDP Primaries because for Atiku money can buy anything. He is also seen as liberal compared to other Northerners that vies the ticket.

He also uses the strength and numbers of delegates in the North to do as he pleases. Atiku has no loyalists because after election he is gone. If you put a secret ballot, I am sure his Gov won't even vote him. I am even surprised, he hasn't travelled yet perhaps he was advised not to.

They are all Wike's men and afraid of the backlash that's why they don't come out openly.

If Atiku as bad a politician as he is can beat Wike so silly, then what's all his noise about?
Someone who can't defeat atiku in ordinary primaries can't have any hope of winning a Tinubu in the presidential.
Atiku's travelling out during the Buhari presidency has more to do with the fact that he can't afford to antagonise Buhari without losing support in the North. That's why he deliberately stayed away and was instead offering suggestion and advice while Buhari was on seat. It's more of a cultural thing than political.
That said, PDP will look like fools of they don't get rid of these lawmakers and expel Wike ASAP or at least do a form of public reconciliation. They are losing a great deal of public regard

Stop giving false information.....Those law makers, who were against Obaseki, were never inaugurated..........When the house was proclaimed, they didn't appear for swearing in, that was why they were denied access to the law chamber........It's jus like a case of a student who read law, without going to law school.
