Enugus topography makes it difficult to get water. drilling borehole there is not economical because of the depth of the water bed

Federal government fund most of their farmers in the north and they do not produce most of the food. The middle belt most especially Benue produce most of the food in Nigeria at the moment and despite the Fulani herdsmen menace, they're not giving up. The few southern farmers are packing up because of Fulani terrorists and I don't blame them. Even in the south west, the Fulani terrorists keep burning people's farm

In the 17 century, some high chiefs in Aba journeyed to Ile Ife worshiped Opa Oranmiyan, these chiefs ran out of water on their way back to Aba when they got to Enugu and decided to beg the settlers to give them water but the settlers refused to give them water despite been their kinsmen just because they were coming from Ile Ife, one of them eventually died of thirsty in the process, so they used juju to signal the Ile ife high chief, who got angry and told them that they shall henceforth lack water from that day on in Enugu , except they gather their high chiefs to go and beg the chief in Ile Ife

The name of the man who died among them is Obollo Afor, the spot was named Obollo Afor till date
