Stop wearing shoes for a while. Clean up the open wound and avoid contamination. If possible, take tetanus injection from a health facility for protection against tetanus becauseof the location of the wound. It's worth it. Always make your feel/toes airy. Cultivate the habit of using Pam sandals but wear shoes occasionally. Application of fungal cream or powder between your toes will also help. A doctor may recommend antifungal drugs or antibiotics for you if necessary. No cause to panic.

It cost less than 1000. Just get a candle and light it and let it be dripping on the toe nail. After having done it for like 2 minut, scrap the wax off the nail and dot again. Then before going to bed, repeat it again. You'll thank me later. I solved mine that way

Nothing to worry about. Leave it and don't stress the wound. Your toe nail is about to come off, and when it does, it'll grow back in few months. The pain which is caused from wearing the shoe (which was probably tight) was what caused it.

This is a fungal infection. Visit any pharmacy and buy Terbinol

I see some very silly uninformed comments saying it will regrow, what you have is a common fungal infection that affects nails..onychomycosis

Needs to be treated and it takes a very long time to go. More than 1 year to clear off completely but you need to use efinaconazole (Jublia) daily for minimum of 11months. Also file the nail so the drug can get into the nail bed. Be like all the doctors don truly japa from Nigeria
