Mainoo will replace Tchouameni in the midfield. Rest.
Did u see tchou's goal against England.. World Cup?

Is it strength.
Is it pace.
Is it flair.
Is it height.

Giving the ball away must have a different meaning.

Mainoo against Liverpool.

Pass accuracy 89.5%
Dispossessed 0
Unsuccessful touch 1

I know Mainoo's weaknesses. Giving the ball way too frequently is not one of them.

Jack Fletcher.

That’s the post. Leftie. U-18. Plays like KDB. So much passing intelligence. Wow.

I can understand why Man City never wanted to sell him to us.

Afrodoc2 this kid could be the exceptional talent of the U-18s. I know a few of them stand out already in terms of talent but this guy could be it.

And he doesn’t look small either.

I co-sign this completely.

Jack Fletcher is him.

I think Jack Fletcher, Harry Amass, Shea Lacey are the 3 best talents in that set.

I actually don’t think many of them stand out like that. My view is that they are a set that has above average (but not standout) talents in every single department, and they are exceptionally well coached.
The coaching is key cos for example the Under-21 coach can’t train a good defence even if his life depends on it.

Amass reminds me of Shaw. That kid can control even bullet or stone on his first touch alone.

I heard Greenwood was very good against Athletico Madrid. I really hope we can recall this guy. We don't need to spend much money for this our RW

100%

I haven't seen Amass play that much. I'm happy we have talents like him tho. What about Missin?

I think the best thing for these kids is to allow the same coach manage them for their year 2 and once majority of them goes to the U-21s, the coach should follow them too.

This way, we can have players that are almost ready and can almost immediately slot into a vacant position in the senior team- which is what the U-21 was supposed to be in the first place (reserves).

We have too many underdeveloped talents in that U21 side. Shoretjre, Aaron, etc. I'm happy some of them are getting some exposure to the first team in terms of training.

Tom Huddlestone had to join first team training this week because we are so thin in midfield.

Don't hold your breath about Greenwood.

But that guy is a generational talent. His versatility is out of this world and his decision making is fantastic!

He can cross and shoot with both feet now. Both feet! And I'm not talking about feeble shots and crosses. I mean hot shots and really good crosses.

Getafe's coaches dedicate a whole tactic based on this guy. Two people marked him versus Atletico Madrid. Always. And that didn't stop him from creating chances. Their first goal was a rebound from one of his shots!!

Greenwood can go left or right and create havoc. You know those situations where Antony will see acres of space in front of him plus two free teammates on the other side, and then instead of going forward or squaring to those teammates, he'll go back? Greenwood never goes back.

That guy is a generational talent. United fvcked up. Don't hope on him coming back cos it'll break your heart more if he ends up elsewhere and smashes records there.

And Greenwood hadnt played competitive football for two years. I don't even think he's 100% fit yet. He's quite fast with the ball too.

Amass is the Under-18 LB. The guy is very technically secure on the ball. Rarely gives it away. His defending is still not great but is better than when he first joined. Missin has pace and work rate but i suspect he lacks that technique and upper-level skill needed to make it here as a winger.

We already did the coach promotion thing. The current Under-21 coach is the former Under-18 coach that won the FA Youth Cup with Mainoo and Garnacho last year. The Under-21 side are the top scorers in the league but are 10th because they concede goals in boat loads as well.
We can't do it every time though, otherwise the Under-21 coach will need to be sacked every 2 years. The one from last season Dempsey had to reposted elsewhere as he was woeful at his job.

Then we can just make the current U21 coach the new U18 coach. They can rotate every two years or something.

But I agree with your point. These kids need to play under different coaches because not all of them will end up playing for Utd. Most of them will play under different coaches in their career. So it's good that they experience a different coaching environment before they leave.

United's job is to ensure that they get the best at every level.

This boy left competitive football for two years and he is almost back. I really wish him all the best.

Meanwhile we will need to spend over 100m on wingers in the next two transfer windows if we want to get better at wing play

I read somewhere about some big clubs being interested in buying him. Can someone enlighten me why these big clubs don’t mind keeping him despite the scandal while United doesn’t want to

Talent is talent bro.

It was always about who would play him first. Once that hurdle has been cleared, anything can happen. Clubs will always find a way to spin the narrative.

That boy is millions worth of asset. I’m not sure Man Utd, despite handling the matter poorly, will want to let him go too. Or for free.

It can be painful o.

I’m still pained that the boy ruined his United career in the way that he did, and that United didn’t do anything tangible to salvage it.

To pile on hope will only bring more pains. Na to cheer the idiott from afar na him remain now. Make the boy learn some crucial life lessons.
