Pdp is the most useless party all this things is happening in river state yet pdp leaders, No one call wike and fubura for peace talk, i so much like wike if it's even wike and party are in good terms such rubbish won't happen, Atiku should retire from pdp let wike rebuild the party, it clearly shows that wike is the only active member of that party

Some people just run their mouth like a tap water. You were invited into a meeting because somehow someone has a a high regard for you, and every discussion was to be confidential. You were only invited to be a witness. A select group of people had initially met with the Governor and arrive at the resolution, the meeting this tap water mouth of a man attended was just to witness and not to draft any agreement. That’s what happened when someone ascribed a self delusional importance to themselves.

In my view, this situation is not directly linked to Wike or Fubara. Nigeria's economy is predominantly reliant on a single commodity - oil. Rivers State plays a crucial role in the oil sector, and considering the current economic challenges, any President would take action to prevent the state from descending into chaos, which could disrupt the smooth functioning of the oil industry. It is imperative for the Niger-Delta region to maintain stability for the greater good of the entire country.

From every indication, the resolution is to Wike's favour.
The governor couldn't do otherwise considering the threat expressed to him during the meeting. Simi should be extremely careful as Wike will not give up. He should be smart and be way ahead of his rivals in strategy just like he recently demonstrated. Wike opted for that shallow peace options because the odds were against him at that time.
Wike will still try to impeach sim and this time he won't fail

Abeg, shut the hell up and get out, bunch of idiots making a fool of themselves. Enemies of Rivers state. The Commissioner of information told us on Channels Tv that Fubara never signed under duress, he dismissed all the rumours flying around and reinterated the Governor's commitment to the peace pact. But i know that enemies of the state, spokespersons of headless mobs and agents of destructions and destabilisation would be paid to appear on Arisetv to give false accounts and propaganda. I don't know why President Tinubu is allowing some shitty radio and Tv stations get away with all sorts of misinformation and lies, Buhari didn't take it kindly with them. Tinubu should wake up and kick some ass, pls.

Oga, you hate the truth, abi? A statesman who attended the meeting is giving a first hand account of what transpired but in your own euphoria, Arise TV is the problem, abi?

Lol, you're laughable. Arise TV is the rave of the moment. Channels TV is living on past glories.

Any one who is expecting a free and fair election in 2027 is joking, what he did is a tip of what the opposition in Nigeria will see in any election.

He will write election results and handover to INEC to announce and any State governed by the opposition in which he interested in he will grab it.

Even from the above explanation, I don't see any show of force to warrant duress

Tinubu gave a resolution as the President Commander in Chief GCFR, Peter Odili verified it and handed it over to Fabura, who signed it after reading

.
how can you see it?

I have quietly followed the Rivers political tussle and read this full Punch newspaper interview. There are CLEARLY many Rivers indigenes who are very happy that tension has reduced after the latest intervention of President Bola Tinubu that had in attendance Nuhu Ribadu (the National Security Adviser), former Rivers Governor Peter Odili, Adokiye Amiesemaka (who I respect as a great former soccer star and a former Attorney General of Rivers State), and more.

Below is the SUN newspaper article of the 11th of December 2024, showing Chief Edwin Clark CLEARLY calling for the intervention of President Bola Tinubu in resolving the Rivers State crisis! Now he has intervened and some Ijaws and non-Ijaws who are NOT from Rivers State are criticizing him and stocking the embers of fire. What more do some of these Ijaws and non-Ijaws want? Rivers State is very strategic to the security of Nigeria and MUST not be allowed to go up in flames by a few people who have self-interests! Governor Fubara must be allowed to concentrate from here on out so as to deliver strategic projects to the state and the state party structure should be a win-win situation for the benefit of all. Period.

And you that well raised, see your life. If you follow the news on this very well, you would have read where there were meetings previous days to this announcement where Fubara, Wike, Odili, PDP exec from Rivers State, etc were in attendance. Several meetings were held and an agreement was reached. The signing of the agreement is what this water tap mouth of a man was in attendance.

I will suggest that you advise your old man to behave his age.

Dr. Briggs was present at the meeting and witnessed all that transpired, while the commissioner of information was absent in the meeting, so who is in a better position to give a better account of situations at the meeting?

It was also to Fubara's favor
He could have been impeached by now

And a very good reason for it would be the demolition of the State House
That itself was an impeachable offense

Its true.

From an insider source.

Fubara won't withdraw the suit against the defected lawmakers which is part of the agreement, that's his only leverage.
If he give it up, its game over for him.

Actually there are other places saner than lagos. That's why when a lagosian leave to experience another quiet state they usually don't want to return to the chaos.
