Are the transporters going to buy fuel at 50% the cost too? Let open our eyes and see what is being unleashed upon us here.

How can he reduce t-fare whereas fuel price is still scary?

He should have reduced fuel price then order the reduction in t-fare

Nothing like that here in Lagos, infact we're times two of the actual fare because of the festivity, Imagine paying 1k from Oshodi to ikorodu

Reducing the price of transportation by 50% is not realistic but reducing the price of fuel by 50% is realistic.

And why do you think or believe that the 50% reduction won't be realistic 🤷

Believe anything from this government at your own peril.

When I heard 50% discount I asked and still asking where? Which? And what ? System/flat form was slash?

That news or whatever it is.. was just our Xmas gift so as not to ask them where is the December promises and buses?

So they gave that to calm our nerves and make us hope for ever like we always do

Got on the train (AKTS) for free today. The whole process was organized - from NRC to train passengers (at least, this was what I observed from the Idu Station where I began my journey).
However, I noticed there were still some empty seats on the train even after more passengers got on the train from Kubwa. For instance, the seat next to mine was unoccupied.
Meanwhile, can the train operators "reduce" the AC on that route? There's no time I use the train that the coldness of the coaches isn't a general concern; not just me.
Overall, it was a pleasant ride.

Federal government workers have not receive December salaries. So only few people travelled.
Also did Tinubu reduced fuel price or he subsidise petrol to cushion the high cost of transport?
Even the palliatives have not been fully implemented.Only few people who are Tinubu s backers have received peanuts
how many people be fg workers compared to over 200m people

Ask questions if you don't understand a thing.

The FG is covering 50% of the cost while the passenger or traveller cover the remaining 50% so nothing is being unleashed.

It's an avenue to loot the treasury because they will come with inflated figure unaccounted for. IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW. Criminals in power always have a way to loot. If you doubt check the school feeding program of Buhari administration....SCAM.

and will FG be at so many points to enforce fair discount for so many travellers?

All lies. A colleague had to cancel a lesser offer with another transport company not on the list becos of this 50% discount and then booked with GIG for her trip to PH. Her doubt was cleared when she was informed that they ain't refunding shi shi.

GIGM in Ajah is refunding passengers 50% of their fares.
