Me I don't really know what the problem is between Christians and Muslims.

I see Old testament as more of islamic book because lots of it's scriptures are related to islamic scriptures.

Like the story of Moses and Jonah. And many more. Also the old testament talked about going to your place of worship without your shoes and that's what Islam is practicing. It's also warn against women being in charge of any organisation. Even covering of a woman's head. Most Christian movies scripting the moses era would have women cover their heads completely. Islam uses hijab as well.

The only problem I see is Christians referring to Jesus as God.

Aside this, I don't really see any difference between these two religion.
old testament isn't Islamic but Islamic is an offshoot of the old testament. Islam is a more recent religion.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ you be mumu. Christianity was in existence 500 years before Islam. The stories you see in the Quran about Moses, Abraham, etc. were copied from the Bible. How can a religion that copied from another be the true religion?

While I'm not in any way religious, I obviously see you either can't analyse simple facts clearly or do not have a good knowledge of HISTORY.

Your position above is like you saying "your grandfather looks like you". How is that possible? If there is any resemblance it means that You look like your grandfather not vice versa.

Christianity predates Islam with over 600 years (six centuries). It therefore implies that Christianity can't look like Islam.

Simply put the Bible was already existing centuries before the Qur'an.

People should take time to read/study/analyse facts before jumping to conclusions based on religious sentiments as most of these issues are what lead to extremism.

The issue of calling Jesus God, isn't it senseless to you? But it's none of my business whatever they call Jesus. All I know is that there is only one God, and HE is not three

Salah is a true G, I don't know why folks are always pained about his love for Christmas, Salah could even be a more devout Muslim than those hypocrites.

I think you have serious problems if you think anybody is pained that Salah loves Christmas. I am a Muslims don't hate Christians, only Christians hate anybody who does not accept that God is three

Go and check the old testament.... There are lots of scriptures giving your claims away....

None of the characters in the old testament was a Christian.

Christianity began with the coming of JESUS CHRIST.
Though Jesus didn't come to abolish the Mosaic laws, but rather to fulfill them as was prophesied by the prophets in the old testament.

A Christian is a follower of Christ, and such was only birthed upon the coming of Christ.

Before you ask me any further question about whether YAHWEH in the Old Testament is different from that in the New testament, see below:

In the book of ACTS 17:30, the Bible says:

"In the times of ignorance GOD overlooked, but NOW he commands all people everywhere to repent".

You just said my mind!

The dude is obviously a Muslim, and he mischievously represented it in a way to make Islam look more genuine, funny how Muslims claim superiority over a religion that predates theirs for more than 600 years.

To even be more analytical, the old testament which Islam copied from was written thousands of Years before Muhammed was even born, yet they feel they are better than the JEWS who have been observing all those practices for thousands of years prior to Islam

It is only in Africa and some part of the continents you see people taking religion as a do or die affair. Religion should be something that makes you live a better life and also be at peace with your neighbors, it should go with tolerance. Any religion one practice that doesn't allow you to tolerate your neighbors and their practice is not supposed to be called religion, I think the European life style has made Sallah to understand this.

The sooner we realise the western celebration of Christmas has nothing to do with Christians the better for us in saying things that doesn't concern the true Christians. Xmas as it is referred to has alot to do with peganism and nordic rituals when u delve into the history u will think again before mixing up jesus birth with them.

The issue of calling Jesus God, isn't it senseless to you? But it's none of my business whatever they call Jesus. All I know is that there is only one God, and HE is not three

In the book of JOHN 1:1-3, the Bible says:

"In the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with God and the WORD was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made".

MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE and JOHN were EYE WITNESSES who saw Jesus Christ and witnessed everything he did.
They gave their testimonies in the Gospel about Jesus being GOD the SON.

But you refuse to believe thwm, but rather chose to believe the testimony of a far away Arab man who was born more than 600 years after the death of Jesus Christ, over the testimonies of the EYE WITNESSES of JESUS CHRIST. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Where is the logic in all the claims in the quran and the twisted quranic stories about JESUS CHRIST?
If you all couldn't believe in the testimonies of those who saw JESUS CHRIST, how then could you believe the testimonies of those who didnt even know what JESUS CHRSIT looked like?πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
Re: Controversies On Mohamed Salah Every Christmas Period! by Streak47: 3:45am On Dec 25, 2023
Why do you ppl dispute over yourselves and lack tolerance. When it comes to religion you'all throw away common logic and become emotional.

Search for family tree of Jew Prophets in Google.
Search for family tree of Christian Prophets in Google.
Search for family tree of Islamic Prophets in Google.

You will get the big picture.

Over here, some Christians said Islam is a new religion that copied from Christianity as Christianity predates Islam. Going by that logic, that means Christianity also copied from Judaism.

Some Jews did not accept Christianity and the Messiah(Jesus) going by that same logic, some Christians also did not accept Islam and it's prophet going by that same logic also. Remember I used "some" not all.

The three religions are Abrahamic and monotheistic. That is believe in one Supreme God, lest some factions of the Christians, that also bring the idea of TRINITY(Trinitarians) into it, by Paul; a former pagan that persecuted the believers of Christ. So why the hate and dispute amongst yourselves. Lets embrace peace. Let everybody practice what he or she believes in.

Additional snippet, note- you don't need to believe:

The Messiah that the Jews are waiting for is the Anti-Christ(one eyed man). Some Jews rejected Jesus. Jesus, peace be upon him is coming back to defeat the Anti-Christ. Why must Jesus comeback? Because, Jesus didn't die as most people thought. After he comes back to defeat the false prophet(the Messiah the Jews are waiting for---antichrist), then, he will die afterwards, having fulfilled the prophesy.

Before you abuse and dispute what I've written, remember everyone has the right to an opinion and the freedom to express what he or she believes in. Let everybody practice whatever they believe in as long as it's not causing chaos.

Be humble, you aren't better than anyone. Your opinion and believe doesn't necessarily obliterates and nullifies the other person's; as two truths can always exist.

If you want to see how hypocritical people are, tell the public to come to work on celebrations which do not concern them. I can assure you, no Christian will come to work during Salah. I see poor Muslims struggling for a living during Christian celebrations. Wealthy ones no send work on those days.

The reason for the similarity is because the Quran is a derivative of the Old Testament Bible. It was purely a "Copy Cat".
What brought the difference is the coming of Jesus Christ into the world. The presence of Darkness emboldens the existence of light. Nature presented Islam as an opposing force for a reason!

I never talked about resemblance here.... I talked about similarities. And when talking about similarities, it has nothing to do with whether Christianity was birthhed first or last.

And like you'd claim..... Christianity begins with the new testament and only adopted the old testament.... Nobody would tell you that the old testament recognises Christianity... But only informed the people of the son of God...

And if you ever quote me to talk nonsense, I will do well to ignore you.... I am done respond6to idiots who will read and won't understand a thing.
