I already advised against shorting the market.
BTC has been consolidating after eight weeks straight of an uptrend. I was expecting the $46K while the majority on X and Nairaland were calling for $30K. And the psychology of trading had taught me that the majority are always wrong, so I chose the opposite direction. BTC made it to the $45K.
The macroeconomics as a whole has been favorable to the market, the CPI report came lower than the previous, and the FOMC had been paused on the 3rd consecutive meeting as I expected. And the majority are expecting dip to dip, BTC may continue the uptrend after this consolidation. May, may. Or one devil candle, and GOD candle follows immediately.

Stop short I the market if you don’t have trading skills. You’d be shortchanging yourself. Allow your money to dip it’s part of the sacrificial process. We’re bull all the same.

People are taking profit which is normal in any stock,commodity,Forex or crypto market. I think Solana will correct to about $89 - $95 . Then boom to $140. But i think you should also put an eye on Bitcoin and Ethereum too. Their Spot ETFs is rumoured to be approved before January 10th, 2024. Thereby making BTC and ETH explosive.

Depends on the indicator(s) you are using and how they've performed on the TFs you've tested.

For me, I use 1H and 4H for high TF confirmation and enter on 15m and either of 5m or 3m for LTF when scalping.

Most alts were in overbought levels hence the pullbacks and ranging going on presently to liquidate over leveraged longs and shorts on both sides.

Market is likely going to be like this going into the new year . With the ETF approval scheduled for 10th of January, I expect market sentiment to shift positive which will drive btc to the 48k -50k levels.

Will there be a major correction after the news?
Most likely but we watch and see. If you aren’t in the market already, I suggest you hold on till month end to get a clearer picture.

You can't play harlotry with Crypto and win the same way you'd play gold-digger with Crypto and win. The latter always wins as it requires staying in, while the former runs on pump and dump.

This isn’t the time to run after pumps, it’s the recovery phase. It’s the last chance you’ll get to take position.
