PH has been capital of oil rich Rivers State for over 50 years

Lagos was capital of Nigeria for almost 80 years

Kaduna was capital of Northern Nigeria and has been of Kaduna for over 50 years


However, Onitsha, Nnewi and Aba were never capital of anywhere

So unless you can show us where in your Region you managed to develop with your sweat, without it becoming capital, and receiving massive government help, dont talk about development with South East

PH is Igboland, no need replicating it, but it is very unproductive and oil reliant under Nigerian control just like Lagos which benefits from infrastructure monopoly and structural privileges yet has a GDP less than half of Tel Aviv, despite Tel Aviv having less than 5% of Lagos population.

Igboland is the most urbanized ethnic homeland in Nigeria and perhaps Africa.

Nnewi, Onitsha and Aba have taught you what we can do in Biafra. Until you show me any other prominent city which is neither an oil hub or capital city, you will win the bragging right.

This has become stale, this is 50yrs after, a 50year old is now a grandfather. Why y'all still crawling after so long?. The region received all outstanding federal allocations immediately after the war, you weren't owed a kobo, then where did the money go?. The question you should be asking is, why is SE not attractive to foreign investors?, why is it lacking the pull-factor to attract regional neighbours within the country?. Igbos are still on survival mode 50years after, that's too awful.

A place does not have to be a capital to become urban. In every states, they are both rural and urban areas. However a few states has cosmopolitan cities, Aba is not, neither Onitsha or Nnewi. Those are pretty much market places with limited services, those ain't commercial cities.
