Honestly am tired Am tired of caring about others than I do for myself. Am naturally emphatic and I always get to realize that I have only done more for others than I do for myself and the worst thing is that some people don't appreciate it and instead, see it as an opportunity to run me dry.Trust me,you don't want to see me angry and that is why,I don't like getting angry.
This thing affects every aspect of my life from family, to my place of work etc

Today, i was on the road when a man with a disability stopped to ask me for money. I've told myself countless times that I'd stop doing that.

I'm better than before sha.. In the past, I'd give to the extent that i had to suffer for what i have given out..Or have I? 🤣 🤣 Not really!!

I shook my head, trying to tell him i wasn't going to give him.. But, he saw me holding enough money that'd feed him for like 4 days if not more. I gave him the least denomination i had. Just to appease my conscience.
Not much, but i could have use that to buy 5 days worth of sugar or something.

What i find strange was that he singled me out of the line of people standing with me. This pattern is something that happened through out my life..

Somehow, someone in need, not necessarily money, it could be stopping to ask for directions, etc, but they pinpoint me out of the group. I don't understand it.

However do things somehow work out for you? Asin, you're not putting in as much effort as every one else, but things come smoothly?
