The problem with Uzoho is opponents will try to exploit his weak points. We’ve seen this again and again. Besides that he can do a job. But his weak points are well studied. This makes teams confident against us.

This was the same strategy Ghana used, just test the keeper, if you can test uzoho two to three times i believe one will enter. The only thing i see here is that we should be able to outscore our opponent.

This is how Jpes could have set up his frontline . Who noticed Moffi has been playing at the right side of attack in the later games with Nice. And has scored 3 times listed as a right forward. However he opted for Sadiq the sharpshooter with 2 goals.

Your second paragraph isn't entirely true because Ghana listed their wingers/wing forwards as midfielders. That said, JP should leave this team as soon as the AfCon is over because I can't just get why he decided to go with 25players when he could take 27

They can play the midfield role and that's the aim, while still having actual natural wingers. Same thing! Maybe he wants early exit with 25 anyways. Or maybe we'll see the addition a few days to tournament proper.

@bascovanveli i am looking for a video from Alex Iwobi. Maybe you can help me find it. I saw it on snap.
Kelechi Iheanacho was singing All I know with the super eagles team mates in the dressing room and then he called out Ola Aina jokingly
It seemed funny
I think they were singing odunodublack all I know song

Let me speak to you as an insider to some degree.

Gerrard was not a good coach at Liverpool U18 a good motivator but coach questionable.

The brains behind him was a humble guy called Michael Beale, who was in charge of U12 development phase Liverpool FC. He was previously the assistant Manager at Sao Paulo in Brazil in my opinion an excellent coach, strategist and motivator of players.

Gerrard induced him to Glasgow Rangers and he was the brains behind the scenes. When Gerrard moved to Aston Villa Beale left him to QPR and it went all wrong for Gerrard and he got exposed.

Beale is now at Sunderland who have a very good foreward thinking Chair with big ambitions for quality football ⚽ and an ambition to be in the EPL

But the same Beale was later appointed as Rangers coach and couldn't replicate the success the team enjoyed when he was part of Gerrard coaching crew...

That 4-4-2 is suicide. I spent this holiday watching clips of Tunisia 94 semi finals and finals. One thing struck me. The commentators stated that our midfield was thin. That Cote D' Ivoire and Zambia had better midfield but that our strength lies in our attack. E surprise me but on reflection I see that its true.

We have two pre AFCON friendlies coming up.. What formation Peseiro employs in both games will tell us how he intends to lineup at the AFCON...

Just saying bro. I'm not saying you implied that. As bad as Onana is at making saves, he is good with his foot at least.

3 Things I want to see after Jpes is gone:

1. Adarabioyo coming to us
2. Integration of Alhassan and Nwakali
3. Solving our Goal Keeper problems once and for all. The solutions are there. We need a coach to put in the work.

Ndidi wasn't listed today for Leicester, same for Iheanacho, hope they aren't injured. Also, I think Ndidi needs to be managed because of his injury history. Also Onyeka too is injury prone, I pray we don't run into an issue of having some of our MFs injured during the tournament.

Every point I made carried equal weight. That’s nonsensical talk because I’ve made many Nwakali-only posts on this thread clamoring for him. I don’t give a hoot about what anyone notices.

Uzoho can do a job on a good day. But since his weaknesses are known, he is a liability β€” something waiting to happen.

The extent of the injury needs to be known, no time, it's a long tournament. If they won't be able to handle the pressure, it might be better we make adjustments now before it's too late.

Westerhof didn't use 442 at Tunisia 94, he used 443.

In the semi finals against CIV, the attack was Yekini, Amokachi and Siasia while the Midfielders were Finidi ,Okocha and Oliseh.

And no, our midfield was not thin in both matches. We dominated CIV and lost so many chances.

In the final against Zambia, our midfield only capitulated following okochas removal.

I so much love him
If goalkeepers are normally given a chance to be the main coach,
Enyeama looks to me like someone could handle super eagles very well.
He has a leadership qualities.

I hope the NFF retains him beyond the nations cup

For me. We are going to AFCON with 2MF, iwobi & Onyedika. Others & injury are next door neighbours. I don't know why Jpe's wants 5mf when he can go with 7. I just pray we don't live to regret this. I still remember the look on mikels face in 2014 mundial when they stretched Onazi out and he stood hands akimbo watching who was on the sidelines. Victor moses was even played as AM in Keshis 4,2,3,1 formation.

Amedinho you talk am o grin

KC is a very good player on his day and it will be a big blow if it turns out he can't make it to the AFCON but he's not indispensable.

Nigeria has more than enough talent to go the distance without him but the huge question mark is the tactical and technical depth of our coaching crew or lack thereof.

When you have top quality players and they don't perform in your team set up , who do you blame the coach or the players, in the Nigerian πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ situation 100% with the coach.

That's pretty obvious.

Watching his interview on NFFTV about the list, his response gave the impression that he sees the midfield as a 'single position' like the Centre back, full back, right winger etc.
