That's the right way to go, before marketing myopia finally sets in. Nairaland is our homegrown and I look forward to seeing it succeed and thrive. |

Seun:Seun, I am happy you are now taking decisive steps to sanitize Nairaland. As part of improvement initiatives, consider making phone number verification a requirement for new membership registration. This will significantly curb the menace of trolling as it will make it hard to recklessly create new accounts Meanwhile, what does it take to be a moderator? What are the requirements and job description? I could be interested |

Seun:Seun, it will also go a long way for people to give permission to whoever wants to follow them. The era where anybody from nowhere can just follow you without your permission on Nairaland should be over. |

omohayek:Weak. The person capping nonsense is undeniably Gbawe of old and he knows what ID based registration means for bullies like himself. When those afraid of ID run away others not afraid of it will draw nearer. What attracts neutral guest here is good content from search engines and not stupid epistle of partisans. I implore Seun to ignore this one who once called pastors Mafia. He is now a minister and cannot do anything meaningful with his position other than being celebrated as a local champion in uvwie. |

Thazard:people loose ownership of their phone numbers from time to time. Especially in a case of theft and some that also Japa. Email is actually better, except there is an option to edit phone number. |

Seun, I’m not a fan and have no idea if you’ll read this. But you need to add the ability to pin a topic on the front page. Topics like live election updates, BBN finals, ongoing soccer matches and news that run over a specific period of time should be pinned until the event is over. |
