Let me ask you this OP. After finishing your programme, what do you plan to do with your certificate? I ask this because there's no such automatic job anymore. I have a friend by the name ngozi who relocated to the UK for her master's degree in 2016. She looked for jobs in the UK as a lawyer but nothing came her way. As a fashionista that she was, she decided to set up a website where she was posting clothing and designs for people to make orders. She doesn't know how to sew clothes. Enquiries started flowing in from UK, US, Germany, Canada, etc as Nigerians in the diaspora were busy sharing her contacts.

She had one tailor at surulere before she left. She'd take measurements from interested customers and their designs and send back home to her tailor to sew. Once clothes are ready, her brother will collect them and dispatch directly to customers overseas. The business recorded huge growth and she added another tailor in Nigeria. These 2 tailors are always fully booked from January to December. They don't do anything else. They're fully committed to ngozi's jobs.
The last time we spoke, she said she makes 2,700 pounds monthly as profit. She only occupies a small room in the UK, no staff, she pays no tax, no office. Which law firm would pay her that?

No job my guy. Stay on that fed govt job and add some side business and grow it. You'd fall back on it after retirement. Don't forget that government work is less tedious. You have your time to do whatever you want. Forget all those tiktok videos those in the diaspora are sharing oo. Many I'd them would run back home if they were offered a Fed Govt job.

Marriage should be the least of your plans. Things have changed now. Within 6 years of marriage, you're done with having kids and if God now blesses you with multiple births, your house go full. Be wise.

From experience, living in the US affords you with ease what only being a billionnaire in Nigeria can afford you.
But the thing be say, here in the US you must be hard working and smart, more than you are in nigeria. Coming from a lazy govt job, you might struggle and feel stressed.

You can make that 200k in two days in the UK.
Once you are someone who is a stickler to the rules (you do not harass women or underaged girls, you are prudent, you love the quiet life), then you will do well in the UK.
Also, don't put time limit on things like marriage. Work towards it bit let it come when it will come. Anything other than that would make you desperate and then you are bound to make mistakes.

What you contribute is what you will get at the end of your service.

Also position are not stagnant, with promotion comes increase in salaries and more allowance and benefit.

You are also entitled to a mortgage and car loan

I understand how you feel. You are not alone. But I must tell you, you can't afford to be with the wrong woman as a man. She will make life miserable for you. You need to get it right and this is where you have to be intentional about it but not with desperation.

Taking Williams Uchemba as an example. When Uchemba was looking to settling down, before he met his current wife he is married to now, he said he has other ladies he was relating with at the time.

However, those particular ladies didn't tick the major box for him. They were still lacking in some important qualities he really wants in a woman.

He felt quite confused at the time, and guess what he did! He said he fervently prayed about it asking God to give him the right woman. Take note, he prayed for the right woman.

After sometimes, miraculously, he ended up meeting this his present wife. He examined her and discovered that she actually ticked all the major boxes for him in terms of being with the right woman.

That's why I earlier said that when it comes to finding the right woman, it's not something you do alone with your human wisdom. You need to seek a celestial help from above. You need to intentionally pray about it, asking whichever God you serve to guide you, depending on your religion. You need to seek devine direction.

Now, let me tell you 1 to 2 of the reasons Uchemba married that his wife. He said he married his wife because;

1. She is godly, loyal and has respect

2. She gives him peace of mind

3. She isn't materialistic

4. She is supportive

Those are the different boxes she ticks for him. Having dated her for sometimes, he discovered she was the one for him. How did he arrive at that? He prayed for it and he got exactly what he asked for. He discovered this particular lady was different from the rest of the ladies he was relating with.

So, as young men who are due for marriage, let's borrow some lessons from Williams Uchemba as we look out for that rightful one.

To get skilled worker visa you need to earn 38000+ before you can bring in dependents starting from spring this year
