No be lie ! At 34 and earning over 200k ? Thats surely 'a connect ' ,and he must have even gotten the job earlier, thank God for him though. If you are 34 and is at that level under the federal government, why not be patient, work smart ,study ,earn more qualifications and advance your career even in this nation ?you can even diversify with Tech jobs and be a guru soon, but as usual ,once we get this public jobs ,most of us become mentally redundant and too stagnated capacity wise, goto the civil service and see lots of them there. Emma1Oj:Who is this? Professors, medicals earning 100k? Before I left Nigeria 2 yrs ago, I was already earning 250k in a state govt own institution. Go and do certificate courses and open your mind, you would understand what I’m saying. I’m even a year younger than the op. @op, for u to be earning that money in Naija, u would earn 200k equivalent in a day in Uk if you work in your field. |

If you can comfortably pay your bills and have some funds to save, please stay in Nigeria and develop yourself further in your career. For you to be earning more than 200k in your FG job tells me that you have a good job with career prospects. Therefore, I will suggest you stay and climb in your career as a civil servant. Obodo oyibo no easy, suffer dey there o. Japa is not for everybody, and you don't strike me as one of those who should travel out of the country for greener pastures. Just my thought sha. |

ufotty2001:You waiting for so long too doesn't mean u will still meet the right person. Marriage is luck and grace and there is now how you date the girl just to fish out if she is right or wrong .. It's all about risk and get some needs or what u need from a woman at least 70% is fine... Then start don't wait until u will turn 60years when u will need them or when u might have retired and by then who will train them 🤔 So it's earliar you decide and I pray u get it right 👍 |

ufotty2001:I understand how you feel. You are not alone. But I must tell you, you can't afford to be with the wrong woman as a man. She will make life miserable for you. You need to get it right and this is where you have to be intentional about it but not with desperation. Taking Williams Uchemba as an example. When Uchemba was looking to settling down, before he met his current wife he is married to now, he said he has other ladies he was relating with at the time. However, those particular ladies didn't tick the major box for him. They were still lacking in some important qualities he really wants in a woman. He felt quite confused at the time, and guess what he did! He said he fervently prayed about it asking God to give him the right woman. Take note, he prayed for the right woman. After sometimes, miraculously, he ended up meeting this his present wife. He examined her and discovered that she actually ticked all the major boxes for him in terms of being with the right woman. That's why I earlier said that when it comes to finding the right woman, it's not something you do alone with your human wisdom. You need to seek a celestial help from above. You need to intentionally pray about it, asking whichever God you serve to guide you, depending on your religion. You need to seek devine direction. Now this verse of the Bible comes to mind. biblegateway.com Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. - Philippians 4:6 NIV. Now, let me tell you 1 to 2 of the reasons Uchemba married that his wife. He said he married his wife because; 1. She is godly, loyal and has respect 2. She gives him peace of mind 3. She isn't materialistic 4. She is supportive Those are the different boxes she ticks for him. Having dated her for sometimes, he discovered she was the one for him. How did he arrive at that? He prayed for it and he got exactly what he asked for. He discovered this particular lady was different from the rest of the ladies he was relating with. So, as young men who are due for marriage, let's borrow some lessons from Williams Uchemba as we look out for that rightful one. |

i have a neigbour that got married to someone living in uk . The lady is a federal govt worker , after a year she join her husband in uk. She abandoned her fed govt job though she applied 4 leave without pay. Her brother told me that her sister is currently working in three diference places and what she per day is more than her monthly salary in nigeria. I will advice to apply 4 leave without pay and relocate abroad. If u didnt succeed there u can stil comeback and have ur job back.this is my candid advice. |
