best you dont sit on ICAN. Outside the big accounting firms, it is not really known by many recruiters and may put you at a disadvantage for roles seeking qualified accountants.

convert it to CIMA, ICAEW or ACCA when done.

Thanks for your responses, including Sadiq and elengine.

I'll be needing like 3 more diets to finish ICAN if I want to continue so I have decided to start any of the more Internationally accepted qualifications.

Once again I'll need your input on choosing between ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA. Thanks honorable ACAs (FCAs maybe).

Good morning house. My wife has been applying to different care homes and agencies for sponsorship. She recently changed job from Domiciliary care worker to support worker and her agency does not sponsor. It's been difficult as she is only getting offers from agencies and care homes that are not sponsoring, while she is getting rejection mails from the ones providing sponsorship. This month January will make it 6 months care experience. We have even tried outside our location (liverpool), as far as Scotland and Northern Ireland still no positive result. Our student visa expires in few months time, and presently can't afford PSW for the whole family.
Please we need help. If anyone knows of any agency or care home that is giving sponsorship should kindly assist please. God bless.

Don't know if I'm right or wrong but won't the new rule concerning new care visas affect your family?

I recently received a message from Binance requesting that I verify my country of residence. They said they noticed that I frequently access Binance from a country that is different from my current declared country of residence. To comply with their instructions and avoid any potential restriction of my account after a specified date, I completed the verification process. Now, as a precaution, I avoid frequent logins. When I do need to log in, I use a VPN to prevent any issues. I use TunnelBear VPN.
Joyglo...go with this advice

Honestly...we are the same in this regard.

Also using tunnel bear.

Still has 1600 mb...it's telling me to upgrade though

Have you considered applying to care bank agencies?
I.e agencies that supply carehomes staff on an adhoc bases.
After sign on, some of these agencies may be able to pay you through an umbrella company which could be your primary visa sponsor. Your main visa sponsor then processes your payslip + tax involved
Wow...nice seeing u here.

Pls are u coming back to crypto thread?

depends on what you want and how fast you want it.

ICAEW is more focused on the financial reporting and technical accounting side.

CIMA is more focused on business partnering and management accounting bit.

Can't say much about Acca.

Once you have your ICAN, you only need to sit for a single exam to get CIMA certified. You need some experience but does not have to be post qualification.

for ICAEW, no exam is mandated but 5 years of post-qualification experience is required,

Most NHS jobs require CCAB accountants - ACCA & ICAEW are part of CCAB, not CIMA.

So if the NHS is a major focus for you, ICAEW or ACCA gives you better leverage.

Thank you very much for the robust response. From my research, ACCA seems the most robust among them all. I just need to confirm the exact costs then I'll be good to go. Regards

Having a standard night club or boarding school from kindergarten to secondary in Ibadan Nigeria to be precise, which is mor reliable if properly managed and can run from abroad till the person go back home finally. The person is a doctor here looking to go back home in worst 5 years. First time I ever heard someone tired of practicing medicine and want to leave that line entirely in my life cuz I brought suggestion of building hospital.

In truth, in a desperate situation, domiciliary is still the easiest CoS to get.

The dom she was working doesn't sponsor. And the ones we have seen so far that sponsors are requesting that one has a car. She has started the process of getting a driver licence, which might take some time, because she just in the process writing the theory driving test. Please if you know any that does not require a car immediately before giving sponsorship, please kindly help with the link.
Although a care home is our preferred choice.

And while at it, seriously begin to consider your PSW options. I know you stated that you are eligible for PSW, it’s better to not keep that out of your options.
Hopefully, you can pay for the PSW before the 66% rise in IHS on January 16?

This is the reason I always advice, shop for insurance, before you buy a car ........

Someone posted a broker's detail's, about 2 weeks ago....... Read backwards ........

But I feel £1400, is about right ........😁

1400 is not bad especially if you are first timer ,note that with time it wil automatically come down .However ,you can work on on some parameters like your voluntary and compulsory excess cost proposed .See if you can still get a more better bargain by increasing your excesses cost .What you dont want to do is to submitting false data so as to force your premium to come down as the repercussion it too grave which can came aorund to bite you later on.

A night club might be easier. A school is tougher. You're dealing with multiple fragile human beings especially when you say kindergarten sef. If any of them falls ill, injures, anything as kids are known to do. It'll set your friend off. With night club. It's a game of chance as well but at least they're adults.

Lest i forget ,another legal way of reducing your premuim:
If you own a comprehensive insurance from naija and you have a record of not making a claim at least for a year , you can request for NCD( No claims discount) .Some insurance do take it here to reduce premiums.
