My brother how many world class players did we have in 2013 when we won the AFCON? Average or even slightly above average players can be molded to do great things by a coach.

yinkeys:

We don’t have decent options
Frank is not a natural 4, box to box
Onyedika is not a world class 4

The 2024 AFCON will be broadcasted live on GtvSports page on Facebook. I'm still trying to find out if they're on YouTube.

Contrary to what I posted earlier, Max TV said they won't be broadcasting.
Any idea if it's all the games that would be broadcasted on GTV sports Facebook page?

Baba I don’t regret not having the duo of Tomori and Abraham but just saying that the former deserves a place in the English squad. He is too good for not getting a look in by southgate and would hv been a household name in international football if he played for us our Canada 🇨🇦

You don’t regret not having tomori in our current squad

Dis years afcon will not be interesting cos d quality pic will not be top notch ,since dstv is not airing it …we go watch am like dt ,if we c am watch
Don’t overhype Supersport bro, in Francophone and Lusophone Africa, Orange and Canal+ does
amazing picture quality too (even better). As long as it’s not NTA or AIT, should be good.

the same people that are broadcasting the Zambian super league. It's not about traffic and revenue. they used to be the primary broadcasting company for the subsaharan region but the broadcasting right has been given to another firm from Togo which is new world tv. They just couldn't come to an arrangement with the new broadcaster.

This is not 2013 it’s no longer jam body football

Without tactical awareness you’ll be booted out simple

The northern countries aren’t physical like we south and west but they mostly get the best of us why?

Because technique and finesse beats physical strength

Oga, this is a very big lie.. There are many people in Africa that care more about watching their national team games than European clubs..
Abi u want to tell me that tournaments such as indian premier league (cricket), cricket, rugby and cricket world cup, have more viewership than the AFCON?
In 2019 alone, beIN sports reported a viewership of over 800 million for the AFCON, and they aren't even based in Sub-saharan Africa.

Supersport just couldn't monopolize the AFCON broadcasting right and they are feeling too proud to sublet it from the Togolose company that won the right

I haven't even gone to check the thread since I posted it..I knew there will be the usual trolling there...

Honestly, since the last election, I have spent lesser time on Nairaland front page.. the toxicity there is too much..

Egbon! Jinx ke!
Ndidi posted a reel of himself playing snookers on IG few days ago. Maybe his injury is internal cos I don't get it!
Iheanacho posted his training snippet! He will be ready!!
It doesn't work that way. Karim Adeyemi traveled down from Germany to Ibadan and even took part in the activities. That didn't mean he was fit to play.

I'm reading somewhere that Supersport are in discussion with New World TV to secure the AFCON broadcasting right.
The memo in circulation is said to be a leaked one, not official yet.

Supersport and indeed MultiChoice have always conducted business in a monopolized environment.

If HiTV was not sabotaged shey SS for get mouth?

Now that there are alternatives to their business they are struggling and that's proof of poor goodwill customers have towards them.

God f*rbid HITV. I bought a 1440p tv back then because of hitv only for the champions league match quality to be worse that 1990s NPFL *spits*

The club wants to sign him, he's clear of Antony by far too. But he's too injury prone.

Sadiq's absence is understandable, he still played for Sociedad yesterday. Iheanacho of course we know is injured while only Benin Airways or what Yorubas call "Egbe"could have taken Alhassan that fast to camp as he just got invited.Ekong is currently in action for his Greek club. The remaining folks, I don't know whey "they" are not yet in camp.

i disagree bros. Olise is a very good player. Classy, good technique, long ball and freekick specialist. He is 100 times better than Anthony (that guy is the funniest professional I've seen)
