USA is a saner place. Nigeria get work to do. We have a long way to go.

Your risk of dying violently reduces in the USA. It does not disappear totally though, just that compared to Nigeria, it's better

Nigeria has a police force that is limited by poor funding, corruption and low numbers. 340000 men and women cannot effectively police 220 million people.

Sometimes, I get angry when the US classifies countries as unsafe when it is one of the most dangerous places on earth!

They've had hundreds of thousand victims of gun violence just last year.

But they will be the one listing names of countries that isn't safe

Too bad. Some mumu will now come and be blabbing about how dangerious America is with gun violence. Simply because they anounced people being killed. But hundreds of people are masacred daily in diffrernt parts of Nigeria in places like Plateau state, Benue, Southern kADUNA, Zamfara cult killings in Rivers and Bayelsa etc. But una no dey talk. Are they not human beings too

Abeg make we hear word

US is a very heavily gun ridden place

Nigeria's issues are localized in some areas

But US isn't safe almost everywhere because everyone carries gun

I remember few months ago a Man killed father and son in the US because they were arguing over loud music

I see many Europeans online say they are always scared when in the US because of there safety

It is dangerous. But it is better

After all in the USA, it's been decades since a large group of people raided a village and killed lots of people there. Unlike here in Nigeria.

That US has issues does not mean Nigeria is better

Death occurs everywhere in the world sha, but being killed isn't a natural death and should be condenmed

Even as nigeria worst its only some rural or uncivilized places that such thing occur (middlebelt and northern villages)

Why will killings be happening in a so called city. How many people have being killed through gun violence in Lagos or SW this year

Not to talk of some people's heaven (US)

Saner clime, looooool

I disagree

The kind of gun Americans carry makes it a very scary place

Do you Know the number of people killed by gun violence in the US?

I am not even adding ghetto US areas where many young men die in there prime

Are you trying to say Nigeria is safer?
FOI, The number of cult related killings in December last year in just Edo state alone is probably more than these sort of killings that happens in the whole of USA....or you want to add plateau state ? This is not a point to discourage Japa crew because Nigeria is worse Off security wise.

Try not to be unfortunate this evening... How many Nigerians living in Nigeria lose their lives yearly compared to Nigerians living abroad??!

Next time, don't be in such a hurry to derail threads in the name of defending your country.

When it's all in the news how people in public places are being sprayed with bullets in the USA, tell us when last did someone picked up a gun and started spraying people in public places in 9ja. USA is riskier to live than Nigeria in terms of gun violence undecided

Well, Boko and bandits and armed criminal elements among Herdsmen are doing that in many rural areas now and then

Also, slight digression, but things are so bad that for decades the Army has been involved in law enforcement. That does not happen in the USA

I like this your question

Like I previously said

Nigeria's killings are localized to some places

But in the US, people can be smoked out in Malls, schools unimaginable places that's meant to be safe

Such don't occurr in Nigeria
