It is only a person who hasn't read the Bible but always listens to the words of a thief who preaches selected verses that would believe that God is holy and has nothing to do with corruption! Aside from the foundation of religion founded on falsehood. We see from the pages of the word of God that God is not only guilty of nepotism but falls short of making an example of a person who has carried out an evil act, instead, he blesses them or punishes others. Come to think of it. If grace is what saves man from sin because none can live above sin, why do we suppose believers would be righteous? |

Bullshit Being religious but with bad attitudes shows that people are mere bigots and hypocrates By the way, we don't need any religion to be honest in particular and good people in general. Religion is a scam. Religion is a cancer. 1 Like |

2 Timothy 3 King James Version 3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was. 10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. |

Yankee101: Could Timothy be talking of the ridiculous book that was vetoed by a number of men with power to control the masses and later translated by a King, the same book he never saw bound together? The book that has God speaking from two sides of his mouth? With discrepancies and contradictions. And ridiculous stories? |

Siberia01: Bro, it's not a rocket science why despite our religiosity our country remains perpetually backward. It's not the fault of religion. The simple reason is this: Those other nations are more homogeneous than Nigeria. So they tend to be more likeminded and focused on the good of everyone in their society. They have an organic connection/link with their society/country. They own the country because they are the country. Ours is a country begging for that organic connection with its inhabitants, with us but strangely we have always refused to give it. Apart from our heterogeneity which is a massive bulwark against any meaningful development, the system that holds the numerous differents tribes together is skewed very disproportionately against some groups of people. Stop blaming religious people who seek God's solace due to their awareness of the real reason why Nigeria is not working. As we can never have a government that cares for our wellbeing, it's only natural and sensible for people to turn to God as their only choice. |

Siberia01: I have been asking this question but no answer. We are very blind when it come to religion. You can see the number of people beating their chest that TB Joshua was innocent or TB Joshua was guilty like they are the keepers of heaven register. People that have never sat with him before or know what he's doing off camera are 100 percent sure he's not guilty or he's guilty. When I'm seeing the comments.. I was wowwwwed...most Nigerians are highly uninformed... no wonder anything in the name of religion in this country thrives and u have cult like followership ɓut very corrupt people. I'm beginning of dislike Nigerian and African Christianity and Islam. Its just bunch of brainless people. Religion is supposed to liberate us... but molluscs have been used and they refuse to use their brain over religion |
