Maybe the tension generated been the opening match i feel this Ivorian team will not qualify for the quater finals.
The only player with passion is Fofona and he has his demerit too...he leaves gaps in the middle with his constant foray upward. Take it to the bank this ivorian team will not beat SE and EG.

Whether first match or not CIV has been so ordinary. I was even expecting CIV to have at least 1.0 xg.

They're playing GB and not some top side.

Our attack will overrun their defense my fear is the GK and the stupid 442.

My only fear against Ivory Coast is our defense and goalkeeping.

AFCON is about those moment of brillance. It is not about playing like Mancity.

No team has won AFCON playing like ManCity!

The Ivorians scored two brilliant goals why waste energy searching for another when you know your next opponent has same qualities!

Brilliant game management from the Ivorians. They seems tougher than I thought.

we have to buckle up against Equitorial Guinea oo, those guys sabi ball too oo..Their last Afcon campain was a brilliant one, coming second with 6points behind Ivory coast and reaching the Quarterfinals before being ousted by the eventual winners Senegal in 2021 shows they are good oo..they won their 2WC qualifiers and are yet to loose any match since Sept last year..
Super Eagles mae una no disappoint us oo biko

Ivory coast team passes the ball quite well but their decision-making in the final third is poor.

GB translates the ball from defence to attack very fluently and fast but lacks the attacking sharpness to beat an alert defence.

Hope Peseiro is taking notes.

Equatorial Guinea team is very good at attacking crosses.

I do hope the team has done a lot of homework defending crosses like the Super Falcons did!

All the best tomorrow!
