minfelix: It's based on stats CIV are the home team and are a good team too GUinea Bissau would most likely come out guns blazing knowing they have beaten us before The most we can get from both matches is a draw |

Samueltemi337:They might not win but you'll surely see them in the Finals or 3rd place winner. Go check the stats, from year 2000 till date. Only the last AFCON we failed to make quarter finals. |

All I can say is that whatever becomes of us in this tournament, Peseiro definitely has to go after our fate is decided in this tournament and I hope NFF are already lining up a competent manager (whether he's local or not) to fully take over and start bedding in his philosophy, there are some new players that are overdue for a call up, and then there are some players on this team who should have been phased out 2-3 years ago. I'm sorry but players like Simon Moses, Omeruo, Ekong, Ajayi, MUSA, Aribo and even Chukwueze need to be phased out...the likes of Aribo and Chukwueze should be walking on thin ice if they fail to improve their football situations. The new coach has to build more around the MIDFIELD, players like Al-Hassan, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Onyedika, Folrunsho, Daga, Tochukwu Nnadi, Eletu, Akinsanmiro etc need to be integrated NOW- Iwobi and Ndidi are enough to provide the leadership to the aforementioned younger generation of players. Then in defence Igoh Ogbu has to be called up alongside Tosin Adabarabioyo and Gabriel Osho of Luton town. Attack we should keep only Nathan Tella, Gift Orban/Akor Adam's, Boniface, Lookman, Iheanacho (for experience), Moffi and the oga himself Osimhen...the likes of Sadiq, Onuachu, Simon Moses add absolutely to the team except taking up space. Imagine a Nigerian starting XI like this POST AFCON under a new coach: Nwabili Osayi-Samuel Igoh Ogbu Tosin (Bassey) Ola Aina Ndidi OR Yusuf- Onyeka on the bench Iwobi OR Dele Bashiru Onyedika OR Folorunsho Nathan Tella Lookman Osimhen/Boniface Players that should be on probation POST AFCON: Chukwueze Aribo 1 Like |

ThunderFireAgba:I watched the recap and impressed with Alhassan who reminded me of Onazi,Ola Aina had a good game with three crosses to Osimhen,Lookman for the first time played his heart out and his assist was well taken,Iwobi was cool.....Ekong and Ajayi need to raise their game though EQG had just a shot at goal....Sanusi was awful,Onyeka was either here or there.....Osimhen was wasteful....Simon need to rest...Nwabali was well composed. 3 Likes |

lbrichman2: the only thing i will hammer on is “LUCK” Jpes doesn’t have winning luck…wether 4-4-2 or 4-3-3…his team can attack but i dont know why he is not winning games…especially against all this african teams 1-1 lesotho 1-1 Zimbabwe 1-1 Equatorial lost 1-0 and won 1-0 against Guine/Bissau (dominating thse games all through the...watch that game and see how our boys were just flinging away open and begging chances) He beat s/leone home and away He beat Mozambique 3-2 playing 2-2 against saudi…check all these games we had more clearcut chances against these teams…omo that man spirit no relate with winning oo…even gernot rohr no attack like this but we go sha win 1-0…BADLUCK🤷🏽 1 Like |

On reflection looking back at yesterday's game I was a bit too harsh on Iwobi. Had Osimhen or Zaidu had their shooting boots on we would probably be talking about the game being one of Alex's best ever. |

Watching Nwabili yesterday almost made me swear for whoever made us put up with Uzoho for years. Sey na composure, confident handling, dangerous long balls or anticipation? His shot stopping I'm sure will be above average. Could be maning the sticks for a while if he stays consistent. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Jpes need to go find good luck color wey him go dey wear during matches. The man and good luck dey repel each other. How on earth did Osimhen miss that chance. Who moved the post to that side he kicked the ball. It's not like he made a mistake. He dropped his shoulders to place the ball to that place. No be juju be that?? Zaidu face GK come begin pass. The same with Aina. I just couldn't comprehend what went wrong in that game. Could it be that humidity and heat fried their brains that they weren't cordinated?? I think those players should be interviewed. 1 Like |

We're all here praising Al-hassan, nobody is talking about the delayed pass he failed to give Iwobi to sloth on time before the EQG play took the ball off his feet in the 18yrd box. He caused us one or two chances; the first he played a direct ball to the keeper, the 2nd he refused to release the ball on time to Iwobi. He should be smarter cos the game against CIV will be decided in the midfield against who has the best defense and the best keeper. Expect lots of shots at goal and build up from the middle. After Iheancho, Iwobi is the next clinical player in the SE. He should be played up front close to the attackers not as a deep lying midfielder( that job should be left for onyeka) Iwobi never loses such opportunities in the final third. Remember the AFCON game 2019 with Cameroun and his connection with Ighalo that earned us a spectacular goal. |
