Are you blind or deaf?

You are the one who is blind deaf and even dumb.

Is the government responsible for building dangote refinery or is it the PH refinery that just passed mechanical phase 2 and we don't know how many phases are left?

Are those the refineries we have "back"?

Something is really wrong with your brain.

Olodo, then why did you protest in 2012 when GEJ removed subsidy?

Was it envy and hate for GEJ?
.

GEJ didn’t have the balls to remove subsidy. That’s why it was not removed. It’s not protest that stopped him from removing it.

If anybody had protested that subsidy shouldn’t be removed by Tinubu, he would still have removed it.

The president has the power to veto subsidy removal.

Why GEJ was paying lip service to subsidy removal was that: he was eyeing second (abi third) term of being president of your country and he was worshiping the Northern oligarchy because they put him there with the help of Obasanjo. Don’t forget that those that benefited most from subsidy ers are from the North.

GEJ wanted northern endorsement and the northern votes, forgetting that he had signed a confidential agreement where he stated that he won’t serve more than one-term after the death of Ya’r Adua.

Why didn’t he implement the CONFAB report too? That’s the committee he set up by himself o. Were people protesting too that he shouldn’t implement the report?
That’s to tell you that he only used the confab to buy time, distract people, buy people by paying them heavily for coming from all parts of Nigeria to sit and eat bouvet 4 times everyday and sleeep and snore and still go home with plenty cash after the confab.

Obasanjo did the same thing. All the reports are there gathering dust.

There are some powerful people who have political and business interests across Nigeria. They dictate the tune of things to this country. They are present in states and local governments as well.

Pray that we have representatives that will come and step on toes of those people.

In conclusion, GEJ was just a dummy president, though he was allowed to make his own money too.

we have a stake in Dangote refinery and Government gave enough support to make it work. Our local refineries are also coming up whether phase 2 or phase 20, far better than when they were redundant for 40years. Children of bitterness, rest.

It still baffles me on why Tinubu joined others in APC to protest the removal of this same subsidy by then President Jonathan
There was no APC in 2012

Sule Lamido have said it all, that Nigeria elite have united in looting our nation. Mr president just confirmed it now. How can a sitting president declared in a public function that that few people have looted our country through subsidy scam, and because of these few people, more than two hundred million Nigerians must suffer by buying petrol at high prices which now leads to hyper inflation. Why cant me president investigate them and send them to prison as he has done to Emefele. Or is he telling us that these people are more citizen than others, that they can commit crime with impunity. That is why I regarded Emefele' s ordeal as persecution not prosecution, because the law that put him behind bar, should also be applied to subsidy scammers.
And Sule Lamido is what? An okada man?

Now even fewer people are looting it...😕

But President Tinubu, you castigated former President Jonathan for trying to remove fuel subsidies.

I blame the Nigerian people, bunch of tribalist fools.

Good Luck to Nigeria.

so what, desipte the protest, GEJ still removed part of the subsidy.

Can you listen to yourself?

This is why those evil leaders take the masses for granted because they know we will support them no matter what.

If he is a beneficiary as you said, do you think he would have removed it?

And if he removed it even though he us a beneficiary, doesn't that deserve some praise?
Removing subsidy even though he's a beneficiary is no big deal because there are over a million ways he's chopping the cake. Removing it if at all it's removed doesn't require praise because he did his job.

What I knew was that the subsidy reached every Nigerian including people who didn't buy petrol or had no use for it.
And now that it has been removed, even people who are pro subsidy removal are feeling the hardship it created grin grin grin
If few people were looting Nigeria through subsidy, very few people are now looting Nigeria through the benefits of subsidy removal. Moving from frying pan to fire

He deserved curses because the way Nigerian economic atmosphere is going with this subsidy removal is not good at all. Everyday you wake up, you wake up to new prices of goods and services. Something might give, something might break if it is not halted or reversed. Creating hopelessness is not a good way to govern
