Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 11:55am On Jan 16 |
Leyqute: I don’t get you. Anyway my initial argument was based on Top 4 not Top 5. With regards to Spurs, catching them will be extremely difficult but not impossible. I am not arguing that one, but that Top 4……forget it. And why should I look at it from Villa’s point of view when I am a United fan? We are discussing from the POV of United. Whatever the anything that happens to Villa, it won’t be United that will benefit. So that anything does not interest me. It is funny how you guys despite all what has happened still overestimate these players. Meanwhile, has it been confirmed that 5th will definitely qualify for Champions League? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 11:57am On Jan 16 |
I can’t win this argument sha. When we don’t make the Champions League at the end of the season, you guys will say “we just said anything can happen”. I surrender. 5 Likes |

Seunpapa65:After what happened at the World Cup, I'm surprised Onana still plays for Cameroon. Obviously him and Song no dey agree at all. Make them just go their separate ways. It's most likely he was forced on the coach by their FA sef. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 12:05pm On Jan 16 |
raumdeuter:😂😂😂 Did you even see some of the players you listed? Cavani was really good here. Till his second season that he faked injury all year. Matic was past his best but was still really decent for us. And why're you even including Mount that has been injured most of the season. Or Onana that joined like months ago. Their United story just began. Point is you're listing mids to prove a silly point. Imagine we signed some of the other mids we were linked to like Bellotti, Morata, Pau Torres and the likes. You for say na United be problem. |

Seunpapa65:So the nigga wanted to play a continental tournament with a single training session and drilling with his national team? Like he wanted to get handed a starting spot on a platter of gold? I no blame him, na his country na. Anyways nobody rates Africa football |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MRTA7: 12:37pm On Jan 16 |
afrodoc2: PL started the campaign with the best chance but us getting knocked along with Newcastle has dented our hopes. so currently we're 3rd and only the top 2 get the extra CL place. So we need Arsenal and City to go far and the Europa and conference representatives to also go far. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 12:38pm On Jan 16 |
MRTA7: That one na permutation and combination o. Well, one can hope. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 12:51pm On Jan 16 |
afrodoc2: I’m only looking at this from a general POV. We know what will likely happen and as a United fan, I don’t think these lot will make it. But at the same time, AVilla and the rest will still be wary of United, at least at this point. Liverpool fell off badly last season but almost caught up with United and Newcastle at the end. So, it’s never over until it’s over. Re UCL, The top two countries with the highest club coefficients this season gets an additional UCL spot next season. England is just a bit behind second place Germany. With a number of English clubs still left in European competitions, there’s a good chance England will overtake them and get an extra spot. Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 1:00pm On Jan 16 |
afrodoc2: And when we make UCL, you will still come out and say “anything can happen” It’s not about winning anything. It’s just expressions of opinions. That you’re approaching something from one POV doesn’t mean that others can’t approach that same issue from multiple POVs and have several conclusions, some of which might actually seem to be clashing with each other. AVilla and Tottenham; “Newcastle, United and others can still make it, we must not become complacent” United POV: “we’re shiiit, we won’t make it” Newcastle POV; “We haven’t been good but once our injured players come back, we’ll have a shot. We can beat any team on our day” Two opposing opinions can be true, it’s just a matter of where you’re looking at things from. That’s why the league doesn’t end in January. Anything can happen until it’s mathematically impossible for it to happen. |

By February ending sha, things go don clear well well. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 1:02pm On Jan 16 |
We should be signing a winger and a DM if we want to salvage what is left of the season. Where the money wey Sir Jim bring come na? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 1:21pm On Jan 16 |
Leyqute: So, after February anything can't happen again? Hehehe And this anything that can happen, does it include winning the league? I respect the level of trust you have in these players. For me, when someone shows me who they are, i believe them. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 1:30pm On Jan 16 |
afrodoc2: Lol, you’re funny. By February things go don clear means by February things go don clear. The probability to qualify is not zero until its mathematically impossible to qualify. I’m not saying they will, I’m only saying it’s mathematically possible. Anything can happen means anything can happen. I’m not responsible for the way you think but if your interpretation of that means they will , well…

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 1:37pm On Jan 16 |
Leyqute: I like the way you didn't answer the question. So anything can happen does not mean anything can happen. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 1:46pm On Jan 16 |
afrodoc2: I don’t know what you want me to say. If you don’t see any sense, reason or answer in “anything can happen re league position until it’s mathematically impossible for it to happen”, then I don’t have anything else to say. |

Mrviktor:That boy need to play with experience midfielders like modric , Toni Kross or kimmich. What help pogba in juve is playing with pirlo and Vidal because he was below average in man u academy. You see all this mctominay and eriksen he dey play with. There is nothing to learn from them. |
