Osimhen dey like who go get very steep peak.

His injury record very similar to Haaland's before joining City.

This is Haaland's first lengthy knock.

Orban's move to a top club like Lyon is worth celebrating but Lyon is really in a bad situation now in the Ligue1. I hope he helps to keep them afloat, and that things don't turn out the way it did for Onuachu when he made same January move to that struggling Southampton.

I wish Durosimi's move didn't collapse. cry

Still a win-win.

Lyon relegate. They lose their marquee players like Laca.

They become favourites to promote.

Orban spearheads that charge in a weaker league and regains confidence.

Any up form he shows wouldn't be a fluke cause he has done it before.

But France is the highest pressing league in Europe.

Lyon won’t relegate

sometimes good partnership matters in CB. I’ve been satisfied with Bassey at LB even vs Ghana in the wc qualifiers .

Kog45:
Do we need to find right partner for him to perform? He has not brings EPL performance to super eagles either as CB or LB but I will pick him ahead of Sanusi that I watched against EG.

Why i single out Stephen Keshi was,cuz I watched him keenly in his days and till date have not seen both ex and present that are better than him,not only about goal scoring but the charisma and all round performance.

I remember Angola match in Luanda,we are two goals down but Keshi moved from CB and made sure we leveled up with screamer from him and Ademola Adeshina.

Stephen Keshi as a defender have 60 career goals with 9 goals for super eagles.

Na Baba. We really need to get a set piece coach asap. Asides Iheanacho for freekicks, it's provoking that nobody else has near success on same table. Let's not even talk about the corners. We will have setpieces and you as a fan watching would not even be expecting something big from it.

We matched the algerians that night until Mahrez moment sent us packing. Same for 2006 vs CIV.

if osimhen, zaidu and Lookman were clinical enough that match would hv ended 4-1 in favor of the super eagles

this is not true , football may be the most popular sport in Nigeria but some Nigerians also watch other sports .

He knew who Giannis was but couldn't identify him facially.
He is right
Nigerians generally don’t watch any other sports
I also knew his name but not the face to it
Rare to find Nigerians awake all night for an NBA game
The truth is that his name has travelled far and wide but a lot of people don’t know the face to it
Yeah Olympics here and there but they aren’t as popular as football
People know Quadri the table tennis player but not the face to it
That’s another example

Tobi the hurdles runner is also popular but not the face. Although she’s now put in our faces regularly thanks to adverts etc

JJ Okocha had that captain presence, Mikel had that too. Maybe Yobo but not quite
Taribo West was not a captain too but his presence was felt

Yes they had it but not as Keshi.

I watched Super eagles camp video clip by Feyi Ogundiyile of NTA Ibadan,in fact Andrew Uwe was the captain under coach Paul Hamilton,Keshi just came back after long off but when he talked others listened with rapt attention.

Eagles camp video in Papendal by Segun Odegbami,Mutiu Adepoju took it as responsibility to carry Keshi training boot.He was so respected and loved cuz the gap between him and other players was wide, imagine having eagles 1981 debutant still in the team till early 90s.

So no eagles captain like Keshi.

Bassey at LB limits the team's attack from the flanks Zaidu and Bruno look more comfortable bombing forward than Calvin. Plus his heavy looking thick set frame limits his mobility.

Thank you.Giannis personally bought the jersey with his name and number on it in Balogun market. He was just passing by in a vehicle, saw the jersey hanging and stopped to buy it for 7k but to his surprised the seller didn't know he was the same Giannis.

Well established football player would stopped in a market to buy jersey that market go scattered with hailing,in fact he go raise ball before he comot.

To be honest we need a central midfielder with the profile of Nwakali, yusuf and onyeka share similar characteristics hustle players, but little use with the ball

Recipe for disaster no quality end product.

One hattrick from him, everybody will forget all these misses.

Osimhen is still quality...

This is football

I notice we do not give the same leeway to other playeryas we give to VO.

If that was Ighalo, Onuachu or anybody else they would have crucified and lambasted on this forum nom stop.

VO Didn't have a great game.

Actually nobody had an outstanding game, some were clearly better than others but nobody was exceptional.

No serious side relies on Iwobi to be their main creative hub.
It shows how bad things are...
Iwobi has been a professional footballer for over a decade and there's still no idea what's his best position.
Definitely not a CAM that I'm sure of.
Iwobi should be competing with Simon out on the wings and no where near midfield.

Mujtahida:

Osimhen has poor technical ability. Easy way to tell, he hardly scores curlers. From that position he missed that pass, Mbappe or Iheanacho will curl the ball into the other side of the net

Please don't put KC and Mbappe in the same sentence.

How many goals has KC scored in the Championship after getting huge amounts of game time. As it stands the Championship is bossing him not him bossing the championship.

He is joint 38th in the Championship with 5 goals..

Kylian Mbappe has 19 goals in the French league and he next person to him has 9.

How EQG escaped a red card against us is still a mystery to me? Our players are too passive in responding to opponents rough tackles for my liking. Both male and female!

Tanzania is not playing football! This is not how football should be played!

Thank God we did not lose the match. I still have the opinion Sanusi did well for a defender but i cant stick my neck out for Osimhen and Simon, but i believe they would play better and give us goals in the next match.
Kog45:
The two chances are too elementary just like Osimhen one on one chance but good we didn't lose the match if we lost then we will know how importantly those chances are to our progression in the group.

I watched the recap of the match and I want to tell you that Sanusi,Simon and Onyeka didn't have good match and only plus for Osimhen was the goal he scored.

The problem with the Moroccans has always been lack of depth.

Playing against a 10 man team and they looking clueless without Ounah and El-Nesry!
