Okay…
To (try and) put it straight.
Student gets tier-4 visa to the UK.
Student comes in alone, completes their Masters (or PhD etc).
Student applies for PSW alone. Student gets PSW for 2 years (or 3 years as the case may be).
6 months into PSW, (former) student wants to apply for Dependants to join?

What will be the visa category of the dependants?

Go to the uk visa application website, scroll through. Then see if you find the visa type that suits this scenario.

If your partner and child are not with you in the UK as dependants on your student visa, they wont be able to come to the UK as your dependants on a graduate visa.

You can go ahead if your lawyer insists, maybe you will be the first person I will know that gets rejected.

Your partner needs to have been a dependant on your Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa to apply. You’ll also need to show that they’re still your partner.

You must be able to prove that either:

you’re in a civil partnership or marriage that’s recognised in the UK
you’ve been living together in a relationship for at least 2 years when you apply

It's not shakara to disclose the truth in an application. Besides premiums have increased massively from last year - car, home insurance etc so OP would have seen a price jump regardless.

Dont be speaking on what you are not sure of.
A newborn UK born child of visa-d parents as long as inside the UK does not need a passport to apply for visa. The newborn’s parents simply fill that the only identification they have is a birth certificate and the form moves forward. UKVI will never ask a child born in the UK to go and get a passport first before applying for visa.
Like an officer of the UK immigration service would be asking you a Nigerian for evidence of your Nigerian passport application when you come to renew your visa and refuse to stay illegally?? Wow.
Maybe your own BRP carries your Nigerian passport number so UKVI will not go ahead with their visa process until you renew Nigerian passport. Wow. You guys just say anything you feel like.

I have renewed my visas + family x 2 without applying for Nigerian passport when it expired as High Commission gave me so much trouble . Home office allows this so that nobody can claim they overstayed because they did not have a valid passport to apply with. As long as you are a temporary migrant inside the UK with a Brp you will be allowed. Just state your personal circumstances on your application form and go through. Whenever you receive your home country’s passport, you update the Home office with its details by filling the update form online free of charge. This is what I did.
Don’t leave your child without a visa saying you were waiting for Nigerian passport or leave yourself without visa and/or overstay saying you were waiting for Nigerian passport.

But I guess it depends on the visa type yes?
For some visa types, you have to enter passport start and end dates. And if you enter an end date which is in the past, it throws up an error and you can’t proceed.

Just as some applicants are lucky when renewing as they are simply asked to use the IDV app. e.g Health Care Worker Visa to another Health care worker visa. Or Student to PSW. Or Student to Healthcare or PSW to healthcare.
But for regular Student to SWV (tier-2) or tier-2 to settlement, they require full biometrics.

I applied for a visa for my child who was born in the UK about 3year old. All she had before application was her birth cert. She didn't have any passport. She had her visa granted.

I also know family where I live who couldn't get a near date for their passport renewal and they needed to switch to skilled workers visa. All 5 of them had their visas granted.

How did they scale past the passport details section of the application please, because you can't continue with the application once you input an expired date, so how were they able to get around this please?

The vast majority of private insurers do not cover full fertility treatment costs, many might just cover the initial investigations.

However there is one specialist provider on the market now who claim to cover full IVF costs :

I have Amex and Barclays credit card with a credit score of 887 on experian in my 5th month in the UK. What other credit cards can I apply for that won't Carryy out a hard search on my credit score. And how do I check my eligibility for the card without it affecting my credit score.

Amex carried out a hard search, which might affect my score next month.

They all carry out hard search ...no way to escape this once you are approved. Having too many credit cards affects your scores though. Why not wait a few more months and request limit upgrade?
