Our 3 wingers Musa, Simon and chukwueze has been very ineffective in the last 12 months and should be traded for a solid Attack. The coach should just play a 352 formation. Let the lb play as a LWB and RWB respectively without compromising the midfield and utilizing his 2 strikers. As a winger, if you can’t cross properly, assist or even score, you should be benched
Our wingers are poor yes

But our LWB/RWB can’t bring a decent cross to save their lives it’s like trading apples for apples

You guys pick and choose your favorite to criticize. Iwobi might not be a world class player but for the super eagles, he has been average to good at best. The dude has double figures in goals for his country playing as a midfielder and is surpassed only by Okocha. Last game, dude created a world class opportunity for Osimehn from midfield which osimehn failed to convert and we’re blaming iwobi. As far as I’m concerned, iwobi is actually our best midfielder whether as a 6,8,10.
Nobody is blaming iwobi
But you forget how Nigerians vent out their frustrations

Iwobi is the only complete player in the team who can do everything at every position at the highest level
Attack
Midfield
Defend
Iwobi can do it all he’s a utility player

Don’t let Apoty fool you we know osimehn is the star
But iwobi is the heart ❤️ and creative force in the team

We know of his qualities that’s why fan’s always expect Jay Jay magic from him

Please, is there a huge difference as a football analyst, and coach? Because, how are multiple analysts able to decipher the wrongdoings of our coaches while the coaches cannot do it? For example, Everyone has being complaining about team selection (5 midfielders) imbalanced formation (424) etc for the past 5 years and our coaches hasn’t changed such decision. Omo, coaching con Dey fear me
The difference is like night and day
No let anybody fooled you

From relationships
To cohesion
Chemistry and all that

An analyst only stats and numbers

You don’t know what goes behind the scenes

Boss iwobi is Nigeria best player over the last decade period

Only club form osimehn comes close to iwobi period.

He’s light years ahead of any other super eagles player

With so many strikers now in camp, Peseiro will be tempted to revert to his 4-4-2. I hope he doesn't.

The 4-3-3 allowed us to create more chances.
True... Although 352 is still the perfect formation.

Remember one side na they pay you if you don’t want to end up like mikel OBi (great career btw)

I don’t know if the injury is fake or not

But remember who pays you and who made Nigeria picked you in the first place

Remember
I think many people seem to have misconstrued what is going on in the Sadiq Umar case. Oma Akatugba who started the whole conversation is a Sadiq guy and they are very close so that already should let you know he is speaking for Sadiq not against him.

The allegation is that the Nigerian medical team deemed Sadiq unfit with the potential to get injured. Being the last day to change players, Peisero didn't want to gamble with it and decided to drop Sadiq and call up Onachu. So Sadiq didn't want to go and see reportedly tried to stay but the team took a different decision.

Getting back to Spain, his club doctors had a different opinion and Sadiq was training the next day and played yesterday. So this wasn't a case of an uncommitted player choosing his club over Nigeria, it's rather a case of Sadiq being denied a place in the team. It's why Oma has been dropping cryptic messages since this started as he obviously has full picture from Sadiq.

Peisero confirmed this yesterday in th press conference claiming he doesn't understand what happened as he acted on Doctors orders. The conspiracy theory is that some persons in the NFF who didn't want Sadiq used the medical team to kick him out. I really do not think that's what happened as the Nigerian medical team may just have decided to err on the side of caution, but I understand why Sadiq might feel that way. Hopefully this is investigated so it doesn't repeat itself.

His form for a forward player relegated from the EPL to the Championship is poor.

He is not fit , is that not a very big risk .

There is no difference between you that have an issue with Iheancho and the guy that always picking on Iwobi i understand it was because Iwobi was benching his favourite player then Zubby

Only God knows where Zubby play now

The formation/tactics below is the only one that can give us a win with a margin of 3.

............Nwabali...........
Awaziem.......Bassey.......Omeruo
.......... Raph Onyedika
Simon ......Onyeka......Iwobi....Sanusi
.......Osimhen.....Lookman

It's a 3-1-4-2.
Awaziem starts on RCB because he can comfortably drive the ball forward from that position(his ball playing and defending as a RCB is top notch).

Bassey Starts in the Middle of a 3-man CB because of his speed in tracking down the opponent attackers and his ability to intercept the ball which is due to his pace as he is our fastest CB.He will function like a sweeper(last man).

Omeruo will play the LCB position being a ball playing CB.He has never failed to deliver in any tournament, be it the AFCON or the world cup.

Raphael Onyedika being the only def.midfielder in the team will start as the holding midfielder since the rest are box2box midfielders since he is a ball playing def.midfielder who loves to express himself on the ball.

Simon starts at RWB due to his high work rate and pace.

Onyeka starts as a CM or box2box midfielder.

Alex Iwobi will play as a CM.

Sanusi will play the LWB position due to his high work rate and pace.

Osimhen will play as a false nine.

Lookman will also play as a false nine.

If mother luck shines on SE, they will win. But if not, like EQG, they will cultivate, but will not harvest. We pray for luck today. SE will create chances but how many will they get past the goal line??. And what nature of goal will they concede? I'll leave it here till after the match.

Hope it's not the same match I watched. Cos what I saw was a player tried to dribble him, but couldn't. Rather the ball hit his leg and rolled to Onyeka. It was Onyeka that gave the ball back instead of booting it away first. Please don't blame Iwobi. The game is still in U tube. I have watched the match over and over again. I must say that Frank Onyeka is not a DM. He lacks positional awareness.
2) Anytime EQG attacks our final 3rd. There is always a player positioned @ the periphery of our 18 with no one close to him.
3) That Salvador was there for like 4 ever but no one spotted that he was the danger. First rudiment in defending is make sure that you are almost feeling ur opponent. Sanusi didn't do it. He was just in free space watching the man with ball.
If we repeat this shit against CIV. Fofana will load us. I watched his game play, he is always at the periphery of 18yrd box. If we continue our ball watching at the back, he will hit a lot of shots to our post. Ghana used it against us WCQ. Tunisia used it in AFCON. I will rather deploy Onyeka as B2B instead.

Nigerians generally don’t watch any other sports
I also knew his name but not the face to it
Rare to find Nigerians awake all night for an NBA game
The truth is that his name has travelled far and wide but a lot of people don’t know the face to it
Yeah Olympics here and there but they aren’t as popular as football
People know Quadri the table tennis player but not the face to it
That’s another example

Tobi the hurdles runner is also popular but not the face. Although she’s now put in our faces regularly thanks to adverts etc
Yes football is the most popular.
Still doesnt mean Nigerians dnt watch other sports .

I know of people who stay up all night jst to keep up with the NBA

Game day!

Praying for a positive result matched with a great performance.

I don't see us losing today but can't say if the match will end as a win or a draw.

Team needs to make sure they don't concede early in the first 20-30 minutes so the Ivorians and fans don't get extra ginger.

Backing Osimhen, Iwobi and Chukwueze to bring the fire today.

LET'S GO SUPER EAGLES!

We’re too quick to judge iwobi has played RWB before of course he can defend better than what we have apparently 😂

Go back to our previous 4 matches iwobi attacking output decreased because he was in between the midfield and defense covering for ndidi and the CB

That’s not his role we know but if he hadn’t done that we would be having a different conversation right now

So yes iwobi is a defender
