A draw won't be favourable tonight as we have to rely on Ivory coast beating Eq Guinea in their last match by atleast 2goals.
The lack of winning culture in this team must be arrested, starting from today!

Out come the calculators!😎

Ajayi is not playing DM. Ajayi and Bassey will play in a back 3 but will step into the DM role stoping Fofana from shooting both on the right and the left side. Both can also step to either wing to cover for both Aina and Sanusi against Boga and the other winger. Lookman Osimhen and Chukwueze speed will unsettle both their slow midfield and defense. We will get a lot of chances. We have to put those chances away.

It is such a beautiful formation that should give us nothing less than 2nil victory. I am confident.
Paserio is listening!

The last time Ajayi played DM under Rohr was a disaster.

Guys, I'm so nervous. I just don't want us to lose or get eliminated in the group stages. I usually love to watch football matches alone. And here I am calling on my Cameroonian friend to come over to watch the match at my place.

I used to be tensed before Nigeria's match...no anymore. I will expect the worse because I have no reason to raise my hope. However, I wish them good luck. They actually have great set of players but there is no team!

The glorious days of Nigeria's football is still in the past. The Ivorians know we are under pressure and if they are smart they will play psychological games with us.

Where did u see me mention Simon?

For what it's worth, Simon has more impact in the national team than Zaha has for Ivory Coast.. he isn't that much of an important player for them...

The talk is about impact overall.

Pls drop Simon impact for us.

Explain it pls.

Why do SE always put us in this mood? They make us tensed, then they make us use calculator. Why

Oh God, show us mercy and love!

If u must win a tournament, u must play and win big teams.
Calculator is only useful in crossing the group stage.

That aside, they have some stans that make those that complain about such situations look like disloyal or pessimistic. These stans so preach luck and chance like asif it is our birthright. So they downplay what they ought not to and are MIA when the inevitable happens. No serious team relies on luck to do it ALWAYS. They put in the work and avoid embarrassment where necessary.

My only fear is that the use of inverted wingers will reduce the number of crosses that will get to Osimhen since Chukwueze et al prefer to cut in.

Notice the high volume of crosses from the wings to Osimhen in the last match when Lookman, a right-footer, played from the right.

But again, the wingbacks can do the crossing and the inverted wingers can cut in to sting the Ivoriens.

It's a gamble that I hope will pay off.

I don't like this inverted wingers idea at all.

Seems Jpes wants to park the bus and catch CIV on counter attack. This may look like 3-5-2 formation too ooo
Looks like 352. I'm seeing five defenders.

I'm here

I'm here to do the Lord's work

It must be done. No stone must be left unturned

Nigeria will loose. This is what they deserve

When the NFF is left to rogues and your national team is filled with certain untouchable players, this is what happens

Nigeria 0 : CIV 1

My brother, we simply don't have a good team. We all know it. If we had a good team, the confidence will radiate to the fans.
We hope, regardless.

Why didn’t coach play Onyedikachi
Making players play where isn’t their specialty would come hunting us
I guess he doesn’t trust him
Can someone share the formation
4-3-3
