Tomori & Tammy Abraham will be regretting why they chose 3 lions over Nigeria

No space for forwards but defenders & midfielders still needed post Afcon 2023
Tomori regretting?

Is he a regular starter for England ?
Maybe he’s ok with bench though

make them increase Afcon to 32 teams🤪😜 so unfair that some group leaders will face the 3rd best from another group, while some group leaders will face the second from another group… anyways life no balance some of the 3rd placed teams unluckily found themselves on that spot… na so Tunisia take decieve us with 3rd position last edition, meet us flog us
wetin i dey talk sef🤦🏼🤦🏼🤪

Defense wins you trophies!

This is AFCON bro. 7 games, u win d trophy. It's doesn't matter if it's 1:0 or penalties. Good defence dey very important for African football.

Egypt of course! They just know how to play on the continent.
Morocco? Never! Morocco relied on low blocks and counters during the World Cup. But at AFCON it will be reversed (they would have to deal with low blocks and counter). Morocco lacks the fire power to score goals!

Nigeria/Egypt will win it!
Still dying on this cross ?

Yeah I expect Kelz to start.

We should go back to a 3-man midfield. Aribo to join Iwobi and Onyeka in the midfield if Yusuf is still unavailable.

Oasis007:
grin

We must beat GB silly in the last match. Also, we must try out Lookman, Osimhen and Iheanacho combo in the attack.

We need to have multiple goalscorers and creators in the team, with Iheanacho both are guaranteed.

Na so dem talk of Waldrum. In tournament football anything can happen. Do not make the grave mistake of writing any team off or hyping any team to the heights.

don't write off the super eagles in this upcoming afcon . The super eagles team tend to do better when you underrate them most especially when they are in the same group with the host of the tournament. 2013 super eagles team squad that won the afcon last for Nigeria has no individual quality compare to this current super eagles squad. Apart from Vincent Enyeama, John Mikel and Victor Moses in that super eagles squad that won the afcon in 2023

Na bro Cameroon just played with determination and gra gra. They lack quality in many areas and it's painfully obvious. Senegal was just slack for some reason. They could easily have hammered them 4-0 the way we did in Uyo that year. This Cameroon team at the AFCON may have the heart but the quality is seriously lacking.

Marjoribanks:
Cameroon was the better team before Sar's goal from corner kick.
That goal unsettled Cameroon and gave Senegal confidence.
Onana made no single safe too.
The Senegalese goals came against the run of play!
And Cameroon should have deservedly equalized just before Senegal 3rd goal.
Gambia is a sure 3 point for Cameroon!

I thought it was said that Onyeka cannot play DM but he was a work horse on the day snuffing out attacking threats and shielding the defense.

I guess the time it took made it appear he was trying to keep it on.
offcourse he was trying to remove it, nobody keep a chain on to play football of all sport.

You will not find it again after 5 minutes.

Onyeka was good in our last match but in the long term you won't get the best out him if he plays DM. He's not completely comfortable with the ball at his feet.

you said it all sir, this particular Cameroon is not it... Gra gra yes, nothing else.

Senegal had so much quality and it was obvious they would win from 20 minutes in the game.

They have only Anguissa in the middle. He is good, but no Kevin Debruyne. Also Nkudou on the left wing but krepin Diatta of Senegal pocket him so well.
