All southern African countries have the same national anthem. And here is South Africa playing Namibia. They just played the same anthem twice. Next time ,CAF should merge the two anthems as one to save time.

Accurate cross and pass is what he said. He might be wrong on the pass but certainly right about the crosses. Having a striker like Osimhen who is deadly in the air and he's not getting supplies is not good enough

One thing I noticed at times is that other players arrive in the box too late, making it easy to mark out Osimhen for a cross.

So the one he gave to Osimhen that he squandered against CIV nko?

If after 93 minutes of play in two games,  losing possession 23 times from 41 touches , completing just 52 percent of his passes, and his only highlight is the through pass to Osimhen, then he's not Super Eagles material!!

Only Osimhen's aerial ability is enough for him to shine . Just be hoofing crosses to him in the box out of 3, one must enter. Go and Rewatch Morocco's game and see how they were lashing out aerial balls into the box 18 of their opponents.

We don't utilise this aspect of Osimhen’s game enough.

This national anthem thing reminds me of Tunisia afcon 2004. They messed up Nigeria’s national anthem. A phoney version was played before the start of our semi final clash with the host country, Tunisia . I guess it was a deliberate attempt to destablise the team. I remembered Kanu screaming in anger.

Even when the right one was played after half-time, we still couldn't hear it because of the whistling by the over 60,000 crowd at the stadium.

Arab and middle Eastern fans are too fanatical.

SUPER EAGLES AT RISK OF DISQUALIFICATION FROM AFCON AS COURT SACK NFF EXCOs.

member of CAF decision making body says
the senior national team of Nigeria will be
disqualified from the ongoing Africa Cup of
Nations in Cote d'lvoire if news about the
sacking of the board of NFF by a court is true,
OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
According to a Nigerian online site
Insideglasshouse.com, An Appeal Court panel
led by Justice Barika together with Justices
Okon Abang and Justice Banjoko sacked the
NEF Executive Committee led by lbrahim Gisau
by setting aside and striking out all dubious
orders obtained by deceit on September 29,
2022, to conduct the purported NFF illegal
election of September 30 in Benin City.

The court struck out all processes concerning
the NFF appeal No CA/ABJ/CV/1006/2022 and
further ordered that the processes be deleted
from all systems of the court forthwith.

Parties in the matter were represented by the
following counsels-NFF by Chief Okutepa SAN
represented by Peace Omiri and Barrister
Arnold from his chambers, while PFAN Task
Force was represented by Dr.Celsus Ukpong,
Chief Rumson Baribote and Mary Waribo.

The judgement was said to have been passed
two days ago and it says all executive board
members of the football body led by President
Ibrahim Musa Gusau will cease to function in
their present capacity after the AFCON.
" Mowiz I saw the link shared on that group on a
judgement sacking the NFF board. That
amounts to third party interference and saying
no action will be taken till after the AFCON isn't
in the power of any one. CAF can decide to
throw the Super Eagles out and nothing will
happen", a member of a committee in CAF told

Yeah bright osayi samuel should be used as a winger. He I more effective than our wingers. In fact he and old aina are more efficient than our wingers apart from ademola look man.
Chukwueze in particular is talented but ineffective. He just dances with the ball with little end product. Our best wing attacker for now is ademola lookman

3-4-3 or 4-4-2: Confusion Breaks Out In Super Eagles Camp Over Tactics For Game Against Guinea-Bissau.

Head coach of the senior national teanm of
Nigeria Jose Peseiro hasn't settled on a
formation the team will play in their final group
game of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)
against Guinea-Bissau, Owngoalnigeria.com
can exclusively reveal.
Nigeria started the tournanment with Peseiro's
favorite 4-2-4 formation drawing 1-1 against
Equatorial Guinea, but against Cote d'lvoire they
switched to a 3-4-3 formation and got a 1-0 win,
which has now put them in pole position to
finish as group winners.

Ahead of tomorrow's game, the coach and the
players are torn on the best way to approach the
game against Guinea-Bissau. We exclusively
gathered that some players want to stick with
the 3-4-3 system but the coaches want a return
to 4-2-4.

The players feel the formation should be their
style henceforth as it will be handy in the knock
out stages owing to the stability it gives them at
the back. While Peseiro isn't totally against the
idea he feels in games where they are expected
to get loads of possession like that of
tomorrow, a more attacking approach will be
best.

A decision will be reached but it's likely they go
all out from the start of the game, and revert to
a more defensive structure based on how the
game is going.

You are very correct,he should replace Chukwueze. He can run from the first minute to 90 minutes without getting tired and he can mark, attack and defend properly.

Bright Osayi will do better as a winger. At QPR, he was a skillful winger, very good dribbler , also great at tracking back..

Aina is graduate of the school of complete football.

He could play DM AM CM as well as both sides Wing and Wing back. His passing accuracy and football âš½ intelligence is high.
