lol I believe if Obi come out today and say he is now a gay , you people will start shouting that gay is the only way that can safe Nigeria. Since Obi son is Queer now . Suddenly he is contributing positively to the society

Who is you people?

Is Obi's son not making an honest contribution to society?

Footnote: given that Dick Cheney, one of the most hawkish members of the Bush administration, disagreed with his principal's view of same seeex unions, I can't help thinking that both Tinubu and Obi have some skin in the game too. cool What I mean is that, deep down in the recesses of their minds, they must think about their children and the unjust criminal code that applies in Nigeria.
By the way, for those who don't know, Dick Cheney's daughter (Mary) is gay.

Leave Agbadorians out of this. Why would the boy feature in that mag? My opinion is that he’s gay, queer or whatever name they call it. Even if he likes or could sleep with a woman, there is something not quite ‘straight’ about him…in fact I wouldn’t describe him as straight.

I don’t have anything against lgbtq but I feel bad for Obi. He is the only son.
Na wa o
I guess Obama is gay as well for fighting for gay rights
Gay discussion is an open discussion in the West and has nothing to do with your sexual orientation. As a matter of fact, if he was gay, that interview will be a perfect place to say so. Go back and read the excerpts.

He is featured in the magazine because he identifies with the community it represents. Simple.

Exactly!! It seems he is trying to expand his brand to cover as much demographics as possible. But Nigerians have to understand the West does not entertain the kind of nuances we do

There’s no difference between OBIDIENTs and Batist, when bat’s daughter was indicted as lez OBIDIENTs criticized her , Batist tried to defend her to no avail ,

table has turned OBIDIENTs who claim to be well meaning Nigerians can’t have the balls to stomach same criticism they dished out.

Most movies screening right now LGBT characters are real LGBT people in life, if you check all their films they act same Roles .
a straight man will barely be on a gay cover .

OBIDIENTs should stop defending nonsense. It’s obvious if Obi had won they wouldn’t entertain criticism. Anyways LGBT should keep their culture where it’s accepted. They shouldn’t bring it here .

He is not merely expanding his brand, he identifies as gay.

When you review the body of work under his adopted stage name, you will come to the same conclusion too. cool

I believe this topic is misleading and needs to be appropriately tagged. The interview was done to represent black excellence in theatre arts not gays.

Gay man taking romantic pic with a woman? The poster knew Nigerians are lazy people that find it hard to make research and that's why they can comfortably post a picture online with an edited caption and expect the lazy youths to absorb it without asking questions. Does it mean the gay time magazine cannot post any other news on their magazine.. this news is about arts..
Most plausible explanation

Then you did not look very well.
There are more than enough breadcrumbs that signpost his leanings.
But more to the point, there is a short YouTube video, where he gives an intro to 'Masculinity Redefined'. cool

Our country will also evolve to the point where we no longer persecute people on the basis of their sexual orientation. Of this I have no doubt.

Let's all allow Obi's son to chart his own course without enduring the needless payload of our holier-than-thou hypocrisy.

Evil? The British government once took the same view of Alan Turing , a man whose contribution to computer science is in part responsible for the device you are currently using. cool

Any discerning person would've long decoded that the guy is gay as fvck. Let's not forget that Mazi Kanu once exposed Peter Obi himself as a homosexual (his feminine voice and effeminate mannerism suggest MNK might be right on the money undecided). If PO had won ni, Nigeria would have become the first African country with a gay president. lipsrsealed

For the record, I personally have nothing against neither the gay dad or son though. It's a free world. cool

The answer is a big fat YES.
