I hope guys aspiring to come UK are aware of the new immigration rules that will take off in April.
It makes it very difficult to remain in UK even after your 2yrs post graduate visa as one will need a very high paying job to remain the UK which in reality is not achievable except for a lucky few.
The popular route to remain was the care sponsorship but its regulation is now very stringent and now with a care visa, u can't bring in dependants again once the policy is implemented in April, so the route is a no way for a family oriented individual.
So anyone that gets a care sponsorship after April won't have dependents. It's quite bad that for a student presently in the UK with his dependants, if he gets care visa sponsorship after April, the dependants won't be covered and would need to return back to Nigeria.
Please let's reason am well before we japa o.

Please does anyone here knows if UK grants study visa to people coming to study 1 year foundation courses?

If you are in the UK, pls go and volunteer to work as a data analyst for a charity organisation or any organisation at all. UK is big on work experience

Do everything within your means to switch to skilled worker visa before your visa expires. Someone who was in a situation similar to yours had push to get sponsored skilled worker visa as her BRP was to expire Jan. 30th 2023 and she was resubmitting her dissertation in May, 2023. She switched as her Uni said they can't facilitate her student visa extension, she submitted her dissertation in May, passed and graduated July 2023 while on Tier 2 visa.

No she can get extension from the school. The person should talk to their school.

Is the Visa Fee for Student Dependant now £1846 or i was checking the wrong page?

I booked National expresss before leaving Nigeria so I merely moved from thr immigration terminal to the luggage pickup area to the National expresss bus-stop that was going my way.

Fully settled in now in the UK. Na job remain now.

You need to check care homes. If money de find one certification course do. If care give u 20 hours, certification job gives u 20hrs. Counterbalance, sia etc. All I wrote is not easy.

But I will tell him boldly to work menial jobs like cleaning, care assistant , security, etc more than 20 hours if he sees..

It's will be a long ride for me.

Nooooo, you dont need to be a techy. Am not in a tech space, u just have to be highly recognised in your field. If you a have a PhD, it's a plus for you.

Decision made on January 14
Decision BRP mail dropped on Jan 17 and I have not received collection mail since then, my tracker is still at DMC. I did a paid call on January 23, decision had been made. What do you think I should do now. I have not received collection mail till now

if you failed modules of your programme you will have to resit , and the school will update your CAS for you to apply for extension
but if your dissertation was rejected you wont get extension for dissertation resubmission because you can do that from anywhere in the world

By the time school starts sending you exclusive mail no be person go tell you to do what others are doing. ? Common sense is not too common.

But the main koko be say it's even hard to get the job now..
