So that wicked Chemistry lecturer that was gbenshing all the girls in the name of totorials is making just 440k now even though he is a Prof?

Let me go and laugh at him on Facebook. cheesy

Seriously sha, if this is true how do they expect the lecturers to be motivated? If they go on strike now people on the streets will still blame them.

Exactly ! The fact that most of them are into cooperatives where they have access to low interest loans that enable them buy second hand cars and pay for their kids’ fees, most people don’t know they don’t make much money.

The fact that most of them are Wicked naturally makes it difficult for people to pity them when dem dey drag salary increment with government .

LOL. You knew I was TheSonOfMark, I think. I think Pocóhantas and you had a conversation about it on some other section in February 2022 or so.

I've been called TheSonÓfMark for a long time on this thread and I acknowledged it every time.

Yes, I enjoyed doing to Cóógar what I did to him. He had it coming for being a Captaîn Save-a-Hoe to impress Rokiatu on an issue which had nothing to do with him in early or mid 2015.

By the way, Nairaland is like any other platform to me. I can put my details out. People who have nothing to hide or aren't worried about being found on other platforms or in person do what I do. But you live multiple lives so hide in the shadows.

Here's another Nairalander finding me on Facebook and me acknowledging it. You'd never have the balls to be this open.

I'd put up my details and pictures and knock you to while at it.

Exactly my salary almost 20yrs ago was about 150k so how can a 10yr vet lecturer in this era be getting 191k? Is that not strange?

It's not strange o. I watched Ali Ndume on channels say the last time the salary of military officers was increased was in 2008.

So it's like an ex military man wondering why someone will still be earning 50k when he earned the same amount in 2008.

I will be surprised if his colleagues working with state universities in places like Kogi, Ekiti, Osun and Ogun earn up to that amount.

The graduates Dapo Abiodun employed in Ogun State, he was paying them 45k grin

How long will they have to work to earn 190k

Let's not forget that it may take 6 months to get 2 months salary.

There are states that banks prioritise when they give loans. And that's because those states NEVER FAIL to pay as at when due.

Ironically, the NW and NE are in that category. Na only Southern Nigeria you go dey see person work for 2 years without pay.

And don't forget another governor may come in, declare the recruitment illegal and sack all of them without paying the salary being owed. We have seen it countless times.

I've always known that government work is not for me. I was even very close to joining the Navy at some point but still chose to remain in the private sector.

Most people going for civil service also know the drill. Dem go owe yu salary taya, they will underpay you but wont demand what private sector will demand from you

If you are brilliant why will you go for civil service jobs?

If their payday was 25th, you'll only see it on the 26th, maybe twice in a year.

The highest that can go missing may be 1kobo.

In my days in the loan department, we dey quickly approve loans from a government worker in the NE/NW. Their payment sure pass the anything

Some people work with government out of necessity not by choice. I have a friend who is brilliant and always looking forward to work in the private sector. He tried everything he could but was just not lucky.

His mum had to drag him to one of their relatives who is a chief on Lagos Island who helped him get into Alausa. All through his stay in Alausa he was always lamenting; complaining bitterly how civil servants are corrupt & how he's always at logger heads with his colleagues (from junior staff to directors) for trying to do the right thing. I knew he just doesn't belong there but he had no choice cos he was almost turning to egbon adugbo before his mum pressured him into taking the Alausa job.

He resigned eventually.(someone assisted him to japa last year)

The idea is to pay them back naa.

Abi you no wan pay?

If they blacklist your BVN, you will not be able to apply for any loan again. They can also deduct their money from any account irrespective of whether you linked it to Fairmoney.

Try pay them.

What is actually the benefit of this Chinese?

Maybe we should even start to ask what is the level of literacy in the state.

what is the success of your islamic political system if it means your able bodies men are hustling as okada riders and security guards for infidels and lesser muslims in the south, and carrying guns and machetes in the north?

They will tell you that is how Allah has designed it and that this world is a prisoner for the believers and a paradise for infidels. Anything to justify suffering to the poor Muslim faithfuls.
