Whoever is "Duke of Shomolu" seems to have overlooked the true essence of the stock market.

While macroeconomics does play a significant role in influencing the stock market, it is far from the sole determinant of market movements. Factors like supply and demand, company-specific news, geopolitical events, and even investor sentiment can have a major impact on stock prices and the index invariably.

Great result from Berger paints. I wonder how they're able to rake in over 166ml from onboarding new distributors (over 700% increase from FY 2022 of just 21mln).

Also, the company has a large free float of over 60% (small outstanding shares though) but still very illiquid.

Doesn't seem to me that the results justify any price increase based on eps but nse defies logic.
Are we to expect a significant rise in price of Berger paints

There is clear correlation between the banking stocks bull and the fx revaluation of last year. Do you need any evidence for that?

Making over 100% increase in turnover definitely justifies price increase. I am just examining the drivers of the increase in PAT of which the onboarding of new distributors plays an important part.

Whether price will increase or not, the market will decide that. Overall dividend might be up to 1.5(0.20k already paid as interim) given their history of dividend payout ratio.

I listened again to one of the presentations by the MD of Multiverse and I concluded that they need to raise his so called "patient capital" to take advantage of the opportunity that they have identified. My issue however is what would be the most probable mode of capital raising - RI, PO, Placement or a mixture of all the above?

The company's outstanding shares is very low (below 500 million) and issuing additional one billion shares shouldn't be a problem.

I don't currently own the shares of Multiverse but I have my eyes on it provided there are more clarity.
