Nice one. NNPC has monopolized and continued to enrich themselves since with our oil money.

Though, this seems like an initiative to take the feeding bottle from the North dominated NNPC to the south dominated CBN. All the same, nice one

Baba dey reward his Yoruba people as they dominate CBN.
Nigeria can not be great o. Except they share this country becus every president that comes in will reward his loyalties. Not even the people. Tinubu is a known ethnic baba, same as Buhari. So, Tinubu will do more of this. lol

Cut off the middle men for easy supervision, but left for me, I would rather change the leadership in the NNPCL

Northern elites and cabal dominate NNPC; any direct attack against the NNPCL elite will have a direct response. Tinubu is gradually weakening the NNPCL base by gradually transferring the control to other agencies.

Move oil sales to CBN.

Are you people seeing what I am seeing??

Always read and understand news, it's only some department that supervise banks that move to Lagos as most banks headquarters are in LAGOS.

If this is true and implemented correctly (not possible) I can bet with anything that the naira will regain value strongly.

I laugh at those saying that we are not earning enough forex. The problem is that some very powerful people are actually hiding the forex revenue from oil in their private pockets.

Nnpc should not be allowed to sell and tender receipts. They should only be concerned with production while cbn handles sell. With this, let us at least witness a reduction in corruption and rise of naira
What happens when nnpc sell 20 paii and issues receipt of 10 paii..the buyer gets more oil at a cheaper rate..nnpc boiz get a cut let's say 3 to 5 paii and govt looses a constant 5 to 7 pai for every deal..make cbn dey there they monitor receipt as if dem sabi crude oil logistics.

Reformer. Lol. This is why he took CBN to his backyard so that it would be easy to transport the money in bullion vans to his Burdillion home or to the airport with the help of FAAN officials grin

But, on a serious note, I suggest that Nigerians should demand a psychiatric check on their President. His many verbal gaffes during the campaigns and now all these decisions that don't make sense get me much concerned that this driver might just drive all of us into a lagoon.

But then I know that Nigerians generally don't care. So,, I don't expect nobody to do anything. We are all good people.

This is actually a good move (if the CBN plays it's part correctly and doesn't become a part 2 of the corruption continues), we need to be accountable as a Nation if we are to move forward.

Everyday incompetence exhibition.

Accountants at the heat of the moment, are now tasked with being engineers. When will they understand the various types of flow meters, valves, pipe conditions, pumps, setup, bypass conditions, equipment conditions, equipment optimization, emergency procedures, etc
That is how he went and gave the so called lawyer, aviation minister.

This is nothing more than corruption. He no dey trust their calculations again, but instead of resolving the issue, he shifted the problem. Now you are giving cbn jurisdiction over this affair, and you don't expect expanded corruption.

Okp*lor eyes has lost it. He is just too corrupt. He is a confirmed failure, eventhough am wishing him well, but he seems incapable of being a person of solutions. May God help us all.

nice point however I don't think changing leadership will likely do alot.may be people like that Jamb registrar that started generating billions for govt from the usual 50/100million his other predecessor use to remit.

At times, it is wise to keep your dullness to yourself.
