Really sad, perhaps it was his evil child that was constantly withdrawing his money that made him to take such a sad action. |

Danzakidakura:That’s where you’re wrong my friend. Our only hope here is Obi coming back to PDP and establishing an agreement and support for a unanimous candidate, even if it’s not him. Tinubu has a massive, almost impregnable support unit. Try to initiate a revolution, you will understand that a typical Yoruba man will rather suffer with his brother on the seat than enjoy with another. The funny thing is that Tinubu did not even win Imo and Ebonyi. You can bet your balls that he’s going to win at least one of those two in 2027. Anyone who doesn’t see how Tinubu legitimately won the last presidential election is just being purposely blind. |

DivinegiftofGod:Nigerian youths are not cowards; Nigeria is not united. You cannot fight where there's no unity. Nigeria is too populated, diverse and complicated to fight as one strong force. RIP to the soldier. Nigeria failed him! |

verybadmouth:Shut up, kid. How will a civil servant in Nigeria plan his future from a meagre salary if not to depend on his pension after retirement? Unfortunately the man's pension wasn't forthcoming. Should he have stolen money like others while in active service or resigned to pursue other jobs?? |

JagabanB:You should have stated the reasons south Africans are in Nigeria and not speak in vague. It is a well known fact that Nigerians troop into south Africa for greener pastures, education and tourism. South African leaders respect their citizens and they place premium on them and their citizens are engaged and that is why the citizens love their country. Now, I ask, what has the country done for you. A country that you provide pipe burne water for yourself. A country that the roads that leads to you house, is maintained by the community people. A country that you maintain your transformer by yourself. A country where you provide your own security and cannot sleep with two eyes closed. No citizen will be patriotic to a country that her leaders neglect their duties in the hands of the citizens. |

DivinegiftofGod:That 'folding of hands dey look' has cause alot of havoc in our dear country. The youth are supposed to unite and fight in unity for the betterment of this country, instead they are busy uniting in tribalistic politics see what it's has cause now the man here is a father to some youths probably a father to a tribalistic bigot (no offense to d death) (If e no affect you e fit affect your person). Look at the frustrating system he's being faced with just to get the money he's entitled. Rest in peace old soilder may God pardon your soul even though suicide should never be an option. |

The deceased's predicament reminds me of the story a Nairalander once wrote here- "Thorns in my boots". The story correlates with this scenery. |
