I was talking to someone how much I pay in a month for electricity bill where I am is far less than Nigeria and by the way there is 247 electricity. For a whole year water bill I pay close to 40k naira (if converted) and talk of food and others, you can be rest assured you will never go hungry depending on your lifestyle and where you shop and eat out. Nigeria is difficult and many won’t know until there leave. There is no where in the life one will fold hands and get nothing and no where is perfect but naija ? Hmmmm

Where you are is good oh grin. Please show us the way. My power bill is around 200 USD every month and it's a single room. Before I moved, I pay upwards of 300 USD for power each month.

Keep pushing and believing.

First of all, learn and imbibe the culture of gratitude.

Then naturally take on the habit of giving without expecting anything in return and without inconveniencing yourself to do so in case you are also struggling.

Just be grateful to life, nature, and your creator however the circumstances be. Even when things don't go my way, the next word out of my mouth is "I'm Grateful Lord".

I once lived in a house with a mini forest looking over my balcony. The balcony was where I hangout to inhale my Ziggy those days. Being one who loves nature and the greenery, I soon found myself admiring the trees, appreciating nature, and just conversing with and negotiating with the trees to hear and bear me witness.

The rest they say is history. Even me no believe nor understand the catapulting. The only thing I knew was that I had my ways made right with life, nature, humans, and my chi and my heart habored no ills.

Na from there I understand the confidence wey Pators take dey do their business.

These days I take life jeje with the full confidence that I can conjure the positives that I desire and should it go south, I understand it wasn't meant to be or just wasn't ripe, yet.

Love your fellow humans genuinely and purge yourself of every bitterness and hatred. And above all, die every ounce of the spirit of self-doubt, negative thoughts, and utterances within you. Trust and believe in yourself.

Try out these and watch your life...

Tested, proven, and trusted..
brother, everything you listed there is what I do and more. Even if you offend me, I'll be the one to apologise. I pray my breakthrough come sooner 🙏

If you have the opportunity, Japa without any apology to anyone, the more you delay, the more exchange rate will continue to kill your dream because you are paying higher for your japa processing. Make sure you chose a sure path, you will never regret. Invest yourself for the rest of people at home. Period!

I know families that are almost parting ways because of this lines.
Please and please Japa comes with its own challenges and it's extremely expensive and one must think very well and be tactful before a step.

You must have funds to keep you a year or 2 ... And this runs into thousands of pounds.

I mean families sold houses, cars, left jobs and they are here fighting.... Na u say make i leave Nigeria. I am not telling u super story this is true life story.

I pay over 70 pounds for gas, over 100 pounds for electricity.

Please let's me truthful.

When it comes to Japa we made if fancy but never allows people to see the true cost of Japa and the exact cost of settling down is another stuff all entirely.

Not every country is UK. UK isn't the only country in the world.

We still haven’t learn , what’s the difference between APC , PDP , LP ? Are they not inter related? LP spokes person was in APC , LP, presidential candidate was in PDP , PDP presidential candidate was in APC 🌚 .
Nigeria’s problem lie in our mentality to out do ourselves instead of empowering each other.

Japa japa I will keep singing this to people. When you stop hoping Nigeria will get better that’s your escape route to a better life somewhere else. Stop thinking others made it in Nigerian you too can make it in Nigeria.
First thing you should do is relocating to a better country. Use your good conscience to judge Nigeria from afar and ask yourself if you haven’t wasted all the years you lived in Nigeria? Come back here to tell us how you feel.

The day they took the light out for 3 mins here to do some maintenance. They brought doughnuts, ice cream and burgers to apologize grin grin. I remember when internet went out for just 5 mins, the next day the internet company was here to double check everything. The funny thing is the light bills and internet bills here are even lesser than in Nigeria. It's really terrible and to be honest the current Nigeria you are experiencing is paradise compared to the Nigeria in the next few years.
Can you be kind and give us Japa connections

Tinubu have been a disaster. Those who imposed him on us never mean well for the people. Even those that supported him were blind as a result of ethnicity and religion. My happiness is that the suffering is not selective. Everyone is in it whether u supported him or not. We yearn for Mr. Peter Obi, they said he is an Igbo man, and as a result, he cannot rule Nigeria. Nigeria is happening to everyone and the so-called president have kept mute about this whole scenario. Imagine imposing a man with questionable character to govern us. It's very unfortunate, cos he will soon sell us all.

Words can't express how I weep for this country; my future lies in the hands of this nation.

As a young lady striving for success, it seems to be getting harder each day. Things are becoming more expensive, with an increase in the dollar exchange rate.

Life now is about surviving, not living. cry

I knew it would come to this when Ahmed Bola Tinubu travelled to consult with the West in Europe before starting his campaign for presidential election.
Institutionalized racism. Black Africa's most populous country must crumble to be followed by others.

Nigeria is getting harder. At this point, make sure you have reasonable family members abroad with viable means of income to assist those still stuck in Nigeria.
Nigeria is not for the faint hearted.

Peter Obi won the last presidential election after Tinubu, Atiku and Kwankwaso shared the votes of people of their religious constituency.

Mahmood Yakubu ordered to upturn the system for Electronic transmission of vote results after he observed that Obi was leading with a very wide margin.

Karma did not wait for long before it started to strike on Nigeria.

So, make people no born again? 😂

He said the truth. I've been financially stable for many years and can comfortable take care of 4 children but my reason for not having kids is not financially related. Now with the economic situation of Nigeria, you'll see a young man marrying 3 wives. Some paying 50k for sex and other frivolities. A man to struggling to feed having 4/5 kids. grin
I believe they know something I don't know.

another hopeless comment meant to create hopelessness in people....let your words edify. How is internet and light cheaper? It is $250 during winter time...that's close to N400,000 a month and internet can be as much as $80 which is about N120,000 for a month of use. You japa to UK...yes you will work but those care jobs are no different from bricklayers or labors...you feel them in your body true and true...even security jobs. Ask those with the experiences....yes we come online and sell paradise that is not real for average Nigerian abroad.

Please can you stop mocking us?

In my life time, just 8 years ago before the cursed Buhari came, $1 was N180. Your bloody light bill is 45k and internet 14k just 8years ago so why use this inflated current naira to insult people's intelligence? We are suffering because salary is the same but the money is losing value WEEKLY.

For example, ordinary insecticide is 2k or 4k. To you, it is less than $2 only, to a fresh graduate it is more than 6% of their income and 4% of the income of a soldier sent to fight Boko Haram with family obligations.

If you go to fancy restaurants and tip $20 you are an average tipper back in the days, you are a generous giver but today that is the waiters one month salary.

Besides our internet is shit. I have never in my life use above 3G... USA quality internet is available for USA price... I am sure you use heavy gadgets and even washing machine that if a Nigerian use here in Nigeria they would have similar bills.
