Oh because you are on the coaching staff.

Look here, Akwafina abi na wetin be your name sef...

Osimhen has no one in this team who will replace him comfortably. Not Moffi. Not Onuachu and certainly not Iheanacho. Osimhen's energy and presence up top is insane. None of our other CFs has or brings that.

Shey we gave this team chance to come this far ni?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:22pm On Feb 03, 2024
Osimhen was a rookie in that tournament. So this analogy is irrelevant. The point and fact remains without Osimhen, we would not beat that Cameroun side at Afcon 2023 in January 2024. Full stop.

Curtisaxel17:
The way we played penalties and crashed out against them when we met in AFCON 2019 without Osimhen, right?

All the "I trust Uzoho" is definitely some mind games to me. Anticipating those using this statement as an argument on here one day. 😂😂😂😂😂

apart from musa and omeruo potentially making history, are there any other Nigerians who have won the afcon twice as players
None. Keshi though has the distinction of having won it as both player and coach.

Nwabali just came out of nowhere and start 'balling' for us. That's kinda strange. He has become everybody's darling in that team.

But then putting two and two together, Enyeama said something about going to AFCON before the tourney starts. Could it be that Enyeama did alchemy of souls and swap body with Nwabali.

Just think...both even have the same head shape and usually shout at interval. Alchemy of souls?
The guy provoke for Iwobi no be small. And even zaidu when his mistimed a pass and the Angolans ran into the 18 which King Ekong blocked. Dude no dey fear anyone.

The last time they won the tournament, most people were following it over a radio.

It must be horrific to have won 4 AFCON tournaments in a time when it barely had coverage, only for your opps to carry it in the social media era. They will be sick!

the team has improved tremendously compared to pre tournament. I still remember wishing the team shouldn't win the afcon so that jpes would go quickly just because of how bad we were. We had no wins in our last 3 matches, lost our final warm up match but now we have the best defense in the tournament, created the most big chances while playing good football on the way. This has been a wonderful tournament so far for Jpes and I hope he reconsiders staying.
He should stay and consider improving and refreshing the team if not he'd become stuck in the rut like Rohr. We should fine tune this 3-4-3 and at least two other tactical variations.

CIV will later win this match if Mali doesn't take their chances. You don't miss such PK at this stage of a tourney.
I like the ref sha... the way he first of all shook Kossonou's hand before awarding him a yellow card eh...

Mali mess up with that pk, civ has no business in this afcon with the rubbish they are playing they never deserved to come this far after all.

I hope Mali will step up in the 2nd half and take these carpenters out of Afcon
