He guffed up big time... there are military rules and ways of engagement. You don't go to social media to lament ur ordeal while they are several channels to do that. As a lieutenant I'm in full support of his detention so to serve as a deterrent to other erring soldiers....... Clout or real, ,, punishment must be meted out!
You are not alright Mr Lieutenant.
People should have the right to rant. He didn't blame the military for the poor salary. He only expressed his surprise after being out of touch with reality for over a year. Imagine leaving the bush to town to realise that your monthly salary cannot cover your transportation fare to see your family and return.
Did he insult the military or even the government? The culture of imposed silence and fear of expression in the army is demonic and I think the Nigerian Army deserve what they are being paid. You all should continue to suppress each other's voices. Wetin concern us?

I don't really understand this country, nothing seems to be working. Japa might be the next option.

Funny you. Japa is not might. Japa is already the only option now for so many people in Naija

Not a fan of Nnamdi Kanu, but with news like this, you have to agree with him that this country is exactly the ZOO he described it to be.

Very Shameful.
What is the solution?

Same here, i initially disliked that man, because his words were always said violently. But this last election opened my eyes.

He was actually right, about Inec declaring who ever they want as the president and no one can do anything about it.

Thank God for social media where evidence can be traced as far back. So our children could quote them.

It's a big shame, Nigeria would have been like mali so niger, the luck we have in Nigeria is that there areso many natural resources.

the guy only complained about the situation in the country and how price of transportation has gone beyond his salary. what channel was he supposed to go to complain about the hike in transportation fares which came as a rude shock to him after he had stayed in a combat zone cut off from the real world?

why deprive him and his family the opportunity for a reunion because the man complained about the hike in transportation fares?

Everything is gradually falling in place, waiting for when the elastic limit is reached, then breaking point when Nigerians will rise and hunt the corrupt politicians and the military and police will in support join Nigerians to fix things. That time is near b4 then let’s all drink from the butter cup

Problem is Nigerians are not smart enough to do this. The politicians would easily distract/divided such a movement by tribal and religious talk.
